Colour Create - 6 - Orange, Yellow and Green
Haven't had time to join the brilliant challenges over at Colour Create the last couple of weeks, so I am pleased to have time this week. The challenge is to create a card with green, orange and yellow. AND...there is extras aswell, there is a big list under the inspiration picture of creations you can also make instead of a card, ie door hangers, gift tags etc. I have decided to make a notebook. I used a 10 p notebook from Asdas (altering a notebook was one of the very first crafty makes I ever did, and the idea came from my very talented crafty pal. (thanks again, you!)I used Basic Grey orange (Archaic) paper and for the flowers I stamped them with a freebie stamp on K&Co paper. The image is from Sugar Nellie by designer Elisabeth Bell. I stamped her in sage green chalk ink on shiny paper and coloured her in with promarkers and highlighted with sakura pen. You can't really see on the picture but in real life she looks really sparkly and distressed (hahah...not as in "unhappy"...lol) The pins and charm I bought in the Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. The little stars and wordtile are from stash. And I have to thank my little boy Ciaran that helped me put this together. I picked the colours and he told me where to put things. (he is sending it to his cousin in Finland) Thanks for looking and have a monday...

What an amazing transformation Evelina, I love your notebook and the way you've decorated is fantastic. The image stamped in the sage ink gives such a pretty and soft effect, a great idea. Glad you joined CC this week. Chris x
