Doubledutch challenge - Sketch it!

Over at Doubledutch this fortnight the challenge is fantastic sketch. I am really into sketch challenges at the moment so I was really excited when I saw this one. I have used beautiful Bo Bunny papers, and red cardstock from the papermill in Aberdeen. I have coloured in a cute Hanglar image with promarkers and a wee bit of white sakura highlighter. Stamped the sentiment with my tiny alphabet pegstamps and used three teal crystal stickers from Elements by Mark Richards. Used diamonte stickers as well from stash aswell as ribbon from stash. Have a good day and thanks for stopping by!

PTW - Dawny's Sketch #7/A Spoonfull of Sugar

Have incorporated two challenges in this card. For PTW it's another fantastic sketch by Dawny. Really loving all her sketches. I use them over and over again when I make cards for people. For A Spoonful of Sugar the challenge was to make a card for someone special, so the theme was "Love is in the air". I have made this card using freebie papers from last months issue of "Quick cards", a magazine that my hubby surprised me with a couple of weeks ago. The green cardstock is from the Papermill in Aberdeen. I coloured a cute Tilda image with promarkers, the tree stamp aswell. Not sure where I got the tree comes from. A very nice pal of mine let me have a shot of it. Might be a Magnolia...sorry...Anyways all the little sentiments were also from the magazine. Valentines is coming up quick and no doubt my sons will be wanting to give all their girlfriends (who said you have to have one, ey!!??Little monkeys..)so I have to get busy. Have a good day and thanks for coming by.

Cute card thursday and Cupcake craft challenge

Here I have made a card that I am using for two challenges. For Cute card thursday the challenge was to make a scene, and for Cupcake this week the challenge was 3-2-1. You have to use 3 papers, 2 embellishments and one ribbon, so that is what I have done. The embellishments and ribbon from stash. I have used a cute Tilda image, one of my favorites, and the scene background I drew and colured with promarkers. I highlighted the image and the background with white and glitter sakura pens. The papers I used are from K&Co, sparkly sweet. Have a good week and thanks for looking.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - challenge 35 - Oh baby

Trying out this new challenge called "A spoon full of sugar" (has to have something to do with the house of sugar...lol...and since I have such a sweet tooth, I thought I'd have a go. The challenge is to make a card for a new baby, expecting mother, new mother of preschooler. I made a card using two precut scalloped edge chipboard with bookrings in them. It is ment to be made into a book, there was pages in it when I bought it. I got it in the Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin, it's 8 by 8 but can't remember who it is by...sorry...anyway, I fancied making a chunky card so I took the pages out. I have used ribbon from stash, the papers are from a pad by Deja Views called "Little ones" by Sharon Ann. There is a girl one aswell and both are adorable. Quite expensive but you get a lot for your money. The papers are 8 by 8 and there is four pages of punch outs and one page of sentiments. I used loads of the punch outs, I felt like I had cheated a bit after since you don't have to cut anything out, but it was fun. I have made this card for a little boy called Finn, that was born about a week ago. Hope his mum likes the card I have made. Thanks for popping by and have a good week.

Daring cardmakers and Sketch saturday

I have made two challenges in one for Daring carmakers and SS this week. For daring cardmakers the challenge was " Give it some heart". To make a card with hearts on it. And for Sketch saturday it is yet another fabulous sketch. I have used the gorgeous Bo Bunny papers that I purchased on friday in Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. I coloured a cute Tilda image in with promarkers and highlighted with sakura white pen and some sakura glitter pen. I also used a word tile (freebie from a mag) and lacy ribbon from stash. I am just loving the Bo Bunny papers, they are so good quality and double sided...need some more. Have a good weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Papertake Weekly - Shape up

Made a bit of an alternative card for this weeks papertake weekly. The challenge was to use three shapes. I was a bit boring and just used rectangles and squares. This card is for my pal's girl's birthday. She is a right emo, with the fringe and all. Hope she likes the card. I drew the image and coloured it in with promarkers and watercolour pencils and a black thinliner. Highlights with white sakura pen. Alphabet beads, skull charm and stick on embellishment pearls all from Ebay. The papers I used are by prima (spaceboy) and red cardstock from the papermill in Aberdeen. Hope I haven't scared you lot of now...lol...

Sketch saturday - 34

Another cute sketch from Sketch saturday challenges. This card is not very me but I just had to try them cute Forever friends papers. These are called "Hugs & Cuddles" and were bought in my local craft shop Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. I used green shiny paperstock from the papermill in Aberdeen and some bright green eyelets. Colours are so much better in real life. How cute is that little bunny though! Talking about bunnies. Some of my favorite stamps are the Cotton Rabbit stamps from funky kits. They are sooooo cute, I must invest in some. Specially the baby one with the nappy...AAAAwwwwww.....

Daring cardmakers - Get someone else to do it

What a laugh this was....got my hubby (too big fingers to put embellishments on) to help me put this simple card together. It's a card for my pal's little boy Archie's birthday. Stamped the sentiments with a cute little stampset I got from the bargain bucket at Papercrafts Boutique for £1!! We used Prima "spaceboy" papers, white cardstock from the papermill in Aberdeen and a chipboard skull shape from Panduro. (my dad bought me loads of these, tack, tack alsklingspapsi!!)I think my hubby did a good job. Making him extra special sunday dinner today. Have a good sunday, thanks for looking.

PTW - Dawny's sketch #6

Another cool sketch by Dawny for this weeks Papertake Weekly. I really enjoyed all the layers in the sketch. I have coloured in a sitting Tilda image, with promakers and highlighted with a white sakura pen. The papers are from Prima, "peaches, perfect panda" (have used a lot of these papers lately, just mad about them!!)The pearl embellishments are from stash and the alphabet beads I got on Ebay. Hope you like it. Have a good weekend and thanks for coming by.

Sketch saturday - sketch 33

Had a great time making this sketch for this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge. I have used Prima "space boy" papers, buttons from stash, white cardstock from papermill in Aberdeen, and the image I drew with a letraset fineliner and coloured it in with promarkers. Highlights with a white sakura pen. This card is for my middle son's little pal James, who's 6 this sunday and he is having a party. He is really into Ben 10 (the "it" cartoon at the mo) so I thought I'd do him an alien card. Not sure if the alien is cute or a bit freaky looking ....lol...

Cupcake challenge 22 - sketch

Here is my entry to this weeks Cupcake challenges. This week it's a cute sketch. I have used my favorite papers, Peaches, perfect panda by Prima. I used some buttons and fibres from stash and some alphabet beads that I got from Ebay. The hanglar stamp I coloured in with letraset promarkers (buy from www.funkykits.co.uk) and highlighted with my sakura pen. Have a good friday!

Doubledutch challenges - Going round in circles

OMG...talk about drama with my PC the last few weeks. Finally it's sorted and I can get back to all my challenges and put some things on my blog. Here is the first challenge I have done in like 3 weeks (shame on me!!)it's one of my favorite challenges, Doubledutch. This fortnight the challenge is to make a circle card. I have used some Scenic route papers that my lovely pal let me have a shot of and I have used a round "hi" sticker. (no idea wherefrom, sorry) The fairydecopage I bought in Papercrafts studio in Elgin. It's by Reddy creative cards. And you can get this in a stamp aswell my pal told me....love that little fairy. For my scalloped circles I used nestabilities by Spellbinder. The round plain card circles I cut out using my son's maths set...lol...Pink gingham ribbon from stash and that's about it. Thanks for looking and sorry lack of posts. I am so gonna make up for it now...lol..
