Anki's sweethearts

Morning. Hope you all had a fab valentines day. Just to let you know, one of my loveliest blog buddies have her first ever stamp collection out. Daring cardmakers/ Sketch saturday

Evening. Having a lovely valentines evening with my hubby tonight. Hope all of you have got spoiled rotten by your partners. I even got some crafting in today , between stuffing my face with chocolate...lol...I have made a card for two challenges. First for Daring Cardmakers the challenge was "feeling green", to make a card with as much green as possible on it. And for Sketch Saturday this week another great sketch. I have used Prima papers (spaceboy), and white and black cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. I wrote the sentiments out and drew the little robot image. I coloured him in with promarkers (my fav) and highlights with sakura pen. The small circles are punched out with Stampin up punches. Handcut most of the other shapes out. Must get myself some nesties to make it a bit easier for myself. Have a lovely evening and thanks for coming by. Hugs Eva.

The Sugar Bowl - 4 - One

I am just loving the Sugar Nellie challenge blog. (Ofcourse!!) This is the second time I have entered it. This fortnights challenge is to use ONE patterned paper on your card! I have used one patterned paper by K&Co (Classic K Bailey). Used a cute Sugar Nellie image by Elisabeth Bell. Coloured her in with promarkers and highlights with my white sakura pen. Stamped sentiments with £1 alphabet cube I got in the local crafty shop. White and brown cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen, button, stick on pearls and ribbon from stash, gold thread by Papillion Starlight. Used my Cricut machine (All mixed up) to cut out the flower aswell. Well, that is me for the night. Kiddies have tomorrow off due to a service day at the school so better get some sleep so I can entertain the lil' monsters tomorrow. Cute card thursday - 47 - Music and Dance

Another great challenge over at Cute card Thursday. This weeks theme is "music and dance". I have used "sort of" music. A nursery rhyme in fact. I have been drawing all these cows and sheep and had matching papers so had to do a cow one. So I used " Hey diddle diddle" for inspiration. I drew the little cow and coloured it in with promarkers. Highlights with white sakura pen. Stamped my sentiments with £1 alphabet cube that I got in Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. Pearl Head Pins are from Williams , stick on pearls from stash. Ribbon from Trimcraft, papers from K&Co " Itsy Bitsy", and cream and brown paperstock from the papermill in Aberdeen. Have a moootastic thursday.

Double Dutch - 11 - As long as it's NOT a card

Another fun challenge at Double dutch this fortnight. The challenge is to make anything BUT a card. I had to ponder on this a little bit and remembered a project I was meaning to do at the xmas holidays. So I did it for the challenge. I bought a frame from Tesco's in the xmas sales. It's really deep so it's ideal to decorate. I have used "little ones" paper from Deja Views. The pad has lots of punch outs so I used a lot of them. The frame is for a photo of my smallest son Jed. Unfortunately my printer is in limbo so I haven't put a picture of him in the frame yet. ( you'd think anyone that has a hubby that fixes printers and pc's for a living would have no broken electicals in the house...but ooohhh nnoooo...) Anyways had lots of fun doing this. That is why Double Dutch is so much fun. You never know what kind of challenge they are going to come up with each fortnight. I am always excited when a new challenge is up. And there is always beautiful DT cards and the prize for the best creation is always lush. This week the prize looks AMAZING....wonder who the lucky one is going to be. Anyways thanks for popping by and can't wait to see what the DD team come up with next challenge. Good night...I am away to my bed.

Papertake weekly / A Spoonfull Of Sugar

Afternoon. Up here in the sticks there is still a lot of snow and it's freezing. Yesterday it was -15...brrrr....anyways haven't left the house today, so got some cards done. Here is my second card of today and I have incorporated two challenges in one card. At PTW there is another fantastic sketch by Dawny. And over at A Spoonfull of Sugar the challenge was "Doodle Doo", to include some doodling of doodle/flourish type stamps on your card. I have used a Tilda image ( teehhee I know it's a xmas one but I have hidden the "merry xmas"...what a fibber I am)and coloured her in with promarkers and highlights with a sakura pen. I have used fantasy papers by Dovecraft and Venetian Skies by Papermania. )I used buttons and embellishments from my stash. (and probably got them sparklies from my kiddies craft cupboard...lol...I did a bit of doodling and wrote the sentiment with my sakura fineliner.

Cupcake craft challenge - Make a scene

Here is a card I have made for this weeks CCC, and the challenge this week is "make a scene". I used some scrap papers( sorry have no idea where they are from, if you know please tell) I bought them ages ago in the Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. Think the paperstrip that I have tore is Dovecraft Retro Flowers. (Bought that online)All the ribbons are Anita's, the flowers are prima. I used some little shiny flowers from Tesco's craft isle. Some stick on pearls from Ebay and a wordtile that was a freebie from a mag. Pink and green cardstock from Papermill in Aberdeen. I drew the image and the background and coloured them in with promarkers and highlighted with sakura pen. My fav challenge is definitely to make a scene. Thanks for looking. Have a good day!

Colour create - 2 - Peach and Aqua

Here is my entry for this weeks Colour Create challenge. The colours this week is peach and aqua. Lovely combo! Had a hard time finding papers in my scrap box but found some plain peach and aqua cardstock from Papermill in Aberdeen. Cut out some flowers from Dovecraft retro flower paper and used some fantasy aqua papers aswell. Mini flowers are from Tesco's and sticky pearls I bough on Ebay. Dotty ribbon from Anita's and peach ribbon from stash. I used a Sugar Nellie stamp by Elisabeth Bell and coloured her in with promarkers. Highlights with sakura white and glitter pen. Daring cardmakers - Oriental Splendour

OOOhhhh...this was daring alright. This weeks challenge at Daring cardmakers is to make an oriental card but not to use the colours black and red. It was really hard but fun aswell. I have used papers from Prima (Perfect Panda) and K&Co (Sparkly sweet) and Bo Bunny (mint dot). The folded circle flowers I cut out with a Stampin Up punch. The little stick on pearls I got from Ebay. Chinese sentiments were cut out from the Prima papers. I drew the little geisha girl and colured her in with promarkers and highlighted with sakura pen. Sketch saturday - 37 - Jeanette's sketch

Just got my entry finished for this weeks sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday. I have used a cute sitting Tilda stamp and coloured her in with promarkers. I used K&Co papers (Sparkly sweet and Belle) and some "mint dot" by Bo Bunny. The butterflies are cut out of the Sparkly sweet paper pad. All the little stick on pearls I got from Ebay. Flourishes and lots of doodling I did with my fantastic letraset fineliner. White cardstock from Papermill in Aberdeen. Have a good weekend.
