Sketch Saturday-48

Gone a bit sketch mad this week, just can't get enough of them at the mo. For this challenge I used some of my own stamps, that I have designed for Sugar Nellie. The main image is skate Luca and the two little skulls are from the Totally Tattoos range. I coloured them in with promarkers. The "D" and "one" punch outs are from a paperpad by Deja Views (little ones) For the DP I used some doublesided paper from Daisy Bucket. Really like the bright funky colours. This card is for my pals little boy that turns one next month. He is such a funky little pirate dude, I had to incorporate some skulls on the card. Thanks for looking, I am away to work...sigh...

Rock climbing

Evening. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Here is some pictures from this morning of my boys. We were on a lovely forest walk in a place called Cabrach, about 20 minutes from where I stay. The boys found some big boulders and climbed on them, and Jed was fascinated by a little stream. They could have thrown stones for hours. It was really hot when we were out,but when we got back it was lashing it down and then there was hail stones...don't understand this scottish weather...lol...finished the Starwars mural I have been working on, will put some pictures up next week. Sorry short post but have a pile of ironing todo....have a good evening and thanks for looking.

The Sugar Bowl - MEN

This fortnight over at The Sugar Bowl the challenge is to make a card or project for a male. Young or old doesn't matter. Ofcourse you have to use a Sugar Nellie stamp. I have gone and used one of my own stamps (Karate Luca), this card is for my pal's little boy Lucas, he is turning 8 next month. I coloured Luca in with promarkers. Used some DP from Prima (spaceboy), cut outs from Deja Views (little ones) and used another one of my own stamps from the Totally Tattoos line, and stamped "Lucas" with my mini alphabet cube from Studio G. Not a very nice day today, managed to take the kids for a walk in the Cabrach forest early this morning, so I don't feel so bad now they are absorbed in their Nintendo DS'. Thanks for looking.

Used a headpin from Williams, a mini safety pin I bought in Tesco's, some stickon pearls from stash and a mini tag that I got from Doubledutch a while ago, when I won a loyalty reward! Had loads of fun doing this project. Shame my kids spotted the sweeties and now they are all gone. Put some potpuri in a bag in it, bet they don't want to eat that...lol..have a great sunday!

(Sugar Nellie ofcourse, since you have to use Sugar Nellie stamps over at the Sugar Bowl) Also used some ribbon, headpins and buttons from stash and filled the carton with creme eggs, which was torture since I wanted to eat them all!! Have a nosy at this monthly challenge HERE!I am away to make dinner, thanks for looking!

Made another card incorporated in two challenges for this week. Am sooo behind on my craft stuff, had a lot of drawing to do this weekend and some baby books and things to make for a couple of ladies. This card is for Cute Card Thursday, and the challenge is "Floral Fantasy", so I have gone flower mad with the DP(Dovecraft), and I used the sketch for this weeks Friday Sketchers. I coloured a cute Gorjuss girl (from Sugar Nellie) with promarkers. Found a little purple star button to put in her hair in my stash box. Cut some flowers out of the paper to use as embellishments. Used some black and dotty ribbon from stash. Also used one of my own stamps (Totally Tattoos, by Sugar Nellie) for the sentiments. Put on some stick on pearls that I bought on Ebay. Gorjuss day outside, shame I have to go to work...mwah!! Have a nice evening and thanks for popping by.

Papertake Weekly / A Spoonfull of Sugar

Tuesday already, can't believe how time flies. Here I have made a card for two challenges this week. For Papertake weekly the challenge was "Perfect Pastels", to make a card with pastel colours, and over at Spoonfull the task was to make a card with diecuts. I have made a little slot in tagcard, using DCWV papers and lots of pink plain cardstock. I used a cute Annie (Sugar Nellie) stamp and coloured her in with promarkers. The flower is a diecut that I have made with my little Sizzix sidekick machine (really want the Cuttlebug machine, shame on me for not having one yet!!) The stickon pearls I got on Ebay and the pink ribbon is from Trimcraft. Still chomping on Easter eggs, me and the kids. Think I should just put them away now. Hubby came home yesterday, since they drove all night and got on the early ferry, so maybe he can help me eat some choccies...lol.. Have a great week!

Had a busy day today, went to Dufftown to see a friend and take the boys to the playpark, and ended up with a car that wouldn't start...help! Anyways had a lovely day, boys got spoiled with lunch and choccie mousse and got home with a little parcel of papers from Jenny, so I just had to make something. Daring Cardmakers - Hide and Seek

Had to join in with the fun over at Daring this week. What a fantastic challenge. This week the challenge is called "Hide and Seek", you have to have a hidden element on your card or creation. If you are really daring you can add a "seek" element aswell. So I have been "extra" daring and made an exploding box. (learned this project about a year ago) For the "hide" element, I have three yummy swedish marzipan treats in a goody bag with a SU stamped tag on the inside. For the "seek" I made I decided to do this box, since you have to open it to see what is inside..."seek". I used some K&CO DP (Amy Butler, Faded Chine, OMG, almost used it all up making this box..lol...)and some ribbon from Trimcraft. Used some white thick cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. Such a fun project to make and it's priceless when you give it to someone and they open it up all surprised! Had a great time, as always, joining in with the Daring Cardmakers weekly challenge, why don't you go check it out and join in. Have a good weekend!

Hubby back on tuesday, so that will give me a little bit of a break. Have a great weekend and thanks for coming to have a nosy.

Triple challenge

Being very naughty this week. Made a card that I will be entering in three challenges. I don't really like to do this, but I am very limited in time this week being by myself with the boys, so hope you guys don't mind. For this weeks Papertake Weekly there is a wonderful sketch and for this weeks Spoonfull Of Sugar the challenge is "How old", and last but not least for this weeks Cute Card Thursday you have to make a card with brown and pink. (Marchmallows and Chocolate...yum..yum.)All three challenges I just couldn't miss, but didn't know which one I wanted to do most so I did all three in one card. I used a cute Tilda image and a little Magnolia rose image and coloured these in with promarkers. I used Making Memories papers (thanks again Jenny) and some brown cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. (love that place!!)Also used some stick on pearls I got on Ebay and used my fantastic Studio G mini alphabet cube for the sentiment (it's falling apart, I have used it so much!!)Lovely day today, I am taking the boys to the ballpool in Elgin and then for some lunch and for a walk. Pink Baby Book

Here is a baby book I have made for one of my friends that have just become a granny. She is far too young looking to be a granny, but anyways. I bought some bookrings and some chipboard pages from Bo Bunny (they are ment to be inside one of their canvas books) and covered the chipboard with some ultra pink fushia watercolour DP from Making Memories. Used lots of buttons and little stick on pearls from stash. The paperflowers have all been cut out with my Cricut machine (Stamped, All Mixed up) and the ribbons are from Trimcraft and Anita's . How cute are the little crocheted hearts and the little flower that my uber talented pal Helena made for me. (check her blog out on my sidebar - Wicked Knits) Inside there is lots of pages to put photies in and at the back some extras for the little baba. Really timeconsuming to do these baby books, but sooo much fun...have to do another one for my other friends new baby for next week. Bring on the pink...

Not sure what to stuff in this teabag, fancy some choccies instead of tea...lol...anyways what a brilliant little project. I am sure I will use this over and over again. Thanks for coming by.

Gorgeous sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week, as usual. I have decided to do a boy card for my son Luca's birthday next month (very organised, lol...) I have used DP and cut outs from Deja Views (little ones) and some stick on pearls I got on Ebay. Friday Sketchers/Daring Cardmakers

Combined two challenges into this card for this weeks Friday Sketchers and Daring Cardmakers. At Daring the challenge is "Feeling Fruity", to make a card with some kind of fruit on it. I love cherries (being a rockabilly...) so I decided to use some of my own stamps from the Totally Tattoo range over at Sugar Nellie. I also used a cute Gorjuss image, also by Sugar Nellie. The DP are from DCWV and the ribbon is from Tescos (I know....Tesco!!)The flowers were just cut out the paper. Loove that paper, (the sweet stack), can't believe I found some cherries on it.
