Whohhooo...another card for me today! Made this one for a lady at work, she has her 40th next weekend. This card I have incorporated in two challenges, over at Spoonfull the challenge for this week is butterflies. I got these DP a few weeks ago and one of the designs in the pad is of butterflies so I cut some out to use as embellishments. Lets hope she hasn't got a butterfly phobia...eeekkk! :D For this weeks Daring cardmakers they need some sunshine, since it's a bit dull down there. So the challenge is "sizzling hot", to use bright colours for your card, like orange, red and yellow. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the circles and "40" and for my round sentiment I used a SU stamp. I also used a couple of SU punches, circle and scalloped circle. The flowers are from Prima and Papermania. The letters for "VAL" I stamped with my little alphabet cube from Studio G. Quite a simple card, but didn't want to make it too fussy for her.
