Jed - Primary One

Here is a little card I made for my smallest son,  who just started Primary One. He is a cheeky little wotzit, and have been looking forward to be a big 'school boy' for ages, like his big brothers.

So...I made him a little card to celebrate him going into school.

The papers I used are a couple of years old, they are by DCWV and are called Grade School. Layered this with black and white card stock.

The image is a Edwin from Magnolia. I coloured him in with Pro Markers.

I stamped Jed's name with my mini alphabet stamp set from Hampton Arts. The buttons are from my stash and the apples were cut out from the DP.

Jed is loving school and am so pleased he has settled in nicely.

Thanks for coming by.

The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamp set from Hampton Arts. The ribbon is from Paper Mania too and the little pins are from my local sewing shop.

Just love these freebie papers I got from 'Scrapbook magazine', had to make another card with them.

The paper and all the cut outs are from the freebie paper pack. I layered these with lots of black and white cardstock.

The image is a Tilda, and the background image is also from Magnolia. I coloured these in with Pro Markers.

I stamped the sentiment with my mini alphabet stamp set from Hampton Arts.

The heart ribbon I purchased on Ebay and the pom poms were also a freebie, but from another magazine I got long time ago, so not sure which magazine.

Sorry pictures come up a bit blue, it's not very bright outside. :(

Lots of fun with this card, love making layers upon layers.

Craft Your Passion - 125 - Emboss It

Hi there.

Hope everyone is ready for another Monday.

Here we have another fab challenge over at Craft Your Passion. The theme this week is Embossing - wet or dry.

Two lovely sponsors this week.

At CardMad Fairy one lucky winner will get 5 images of choice.

Over at Simon Says Stamp you can win a £20 gift certificate.

Last week for my position in the Craft Your Passion GDT. Have had so much fun joining in with the team. Sad to be leaving, but no doubt I shall join in every week in their challenges.

For this challenge I have made a card. I have used DP from DCWV, they are called Street Lace.

The image is from Card Mad Fairy. She is called Imogen. I coloured her in with Pro Markers and did a bit of paper piecing.

I did some dry embossing on black card stock with a scalloped edge die for the bottom of the card.

I used dies from Crafts Too with my Cuttle Bug machine for the sentiment. The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts.

I wet embossed the cream shape with white embossing powder. Then I put it in the freezer for half an hour and bent the shape to make a crackle effect.

The rosettes are made with a die from Tim Holtz.  The black ribbon is from my stash and the key hole charm is also from Tim Holtz.

The black heart stick on shapes are purchased on Ebay, and the mini silver stick on pearls are from Habico.

Thank you for coming by. Really enjoyed my time as GDT member this August with Craft Your Passion. Make sure you go and have a nosy at the DT members fantastic work and join in. :)

Home Sweet Home

Morning.

Sunday already, this week has just flown by with the kids being back to school.

Here is a little project I made last night.

Got loads of these standard size frames I purchased a few months ago (in the Poundshop!) with intentions to do something with them and it's been left in my stash. Had a rake through it yesterday and found them and decided to decorate a frame for my friend's birthday. She is obsessed with pink and black!

The frame was brown so I sprayed it with black spray paint.

The DP are from DCWV, they are called Street Lace. I used a Tim Holtz rosette die and a Stampin Up Boho flower punch to make the flowers.

The sentiment I stamped with my mini stamp set from Hampton Arts. I used a scalloped Stampin Up punch for the border and the stick on hearts are purchased from Ebay.

Thanks for popping by.

Green!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Here is a card I made this afternoon.

I used DP from DCWV, these are called Street Lace. Half the pad comes pre glittered. Love that!

The cute fairy image is from Magnolia. I coloured this Tilda in with Pro Markers. Added a bit of glitter with my Sakura glitter pen.

I used a Stamin Up border punch for the lacy edge. The black gems and black stick on hearts are all purchased on Ebay. The green stick on pearls are from Habico.

Did a bit of recycling. All the white backing cardstock is actually the back of one of my artist's drawing pads. Totally run out of cardstock and was freaking out. But voila!!! You never know what you can find handy in your house when you need it! :)

The little angel charm was given to my by a friend of mine. The sentiment is by Stampin Up. I used a scalloped circle punch which coordinates with the stamp for the sentiment.

Lots of fun making this. Quite a plain card for me, but am in love with the green!

Thanks for coming by.

Bling-tastic Tilda card

Evening.

Hope you had a good day.

Here is a card I made today.

And yes, yet again I have used DP from Bo Bunny. Lol! Just can't get enough.

The image is from Magnolia. One of my favourite Stamp Companies. I have coloured this Tilda image in with Pro Markers, and added a bit of extra glitz with my Sakura glitter pen.

The flowers I punched out with my Stampin Up Boho flower punch. I added some fabric roses from my stash too. The stick on gems (which were not stick on, had to adhere them one by one..took ages but oh so satisfying when finished) are purchased from Ebay. (I think I have gone a bit over board but the sparklier the better!!) The cardboard frame shape was also purchased on Ebay.

I also used some Prima flowers from my stash. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I did a lot of taring on this card and also used a scalloped edge punch, from Stampin Up also.

Thanks for popping by.

Enjoy your evening.
