Squiggle Stamps - Stash Attack

Hi!

Another fortnight has gone so quickly. Time just seems to fly by over the holidays. And here is another challenge over at Squiggle Stamps.

This fortnight the challenge is Stash Attack. You always find something in your stash you have forgotten about. So you are to use things from your stash for this challenge.

I am sure most of you have some things in your stash you have meant to use but never did. Here is your chance!!

There is a fab prize for one lucky winner and for the top three you get to pick an image of your choice.

For my DT project I decided to decorate a little jar I purchased in Matalan. They were £1 for the little ones and £2 for the big ones. Love a bargain!

The image is called Frills, from the Jessabelles range. I coloured her in with Pro Markers. The rosette I made with a Tim Holtz die. I also used a scalloped circle punch from Stampin Up to punch for the image.

Made a little tag for the lid. The ribbon and charm is from Stash. I ribbon is recycled from a christmas present from last year.  The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts.

The DP are from Paper Mania. The ribbons are from my stash. The black one was a freebie from a magazine which I gathered and sew on and the spotty one is from Anita's.

I used a Stampin Up scalloped edge punch for the paper. Going to fill this jar with lots of sweeties. Great for a little present. This jar is air tight so ideal for treats.

Had lots of fun decorating this jar. Thank you for coming by for a nosy. Hope to see you all join in with us over at Squiggle Stamps.

We are now having our challenge every three weeks, so you have until the 19th or August to join in!

Don't forget to check out our Facebook page. Come over and like us! :)

Tilda Mermaid Easel Card

Gorgeous day today up here in Scotland. I managed to squeeze in some crafting time when kiddies were out playing in the sun shine.

I have made an easel card with this gorgeous Tilda Magnolia Mermaid stamp. The back ground shell stamp is also from Magnolia. I coloured these in with Pro Markers.

The DP are from Paper Mania. They already come shaped and some are pre glittered, which I absolutely love!

The spotty ribbon is also from Paper Mania. The stick on pearls and small hat pins are from my local craft shop. The green hat pins I purchased on Ebay.

The leaf die cut shapes I also purchased on Ebay pre cut. Great idea if you are not sure about buying a die. Try before you buy.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Really enjoyed making this card. Thanks for popping by. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Another challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges. This fortnight the theme is 'Summer'.

We are sponsored by Squiggle Stamps this time. The winner will get a three images of their choice from the online store.

For my DT project I have made a bright little mini book. I have gone for monochromatic this time using  green and white.

For this little creation I have gone Paper Mania mad! The papers (Paper Mania Capsule), ribbon and buttons are all from there.

The stick on pearls are from Creative Impressions. The grass die cuts I purchased on Ebay, already cut.

The image I used is from Squiggle Stamps. She is called Sunny Flower Girl, from the Lilliputs range. I coloured her in with Pro Markers and added a little bit of sparkle with some glitter glue from Craft Planet.

Squiggle Stamps have got a brand new Facebook page, so pop over for a nosy and give them a like. And they also have a super silly sale on at the moment, so grab a bargain or two before it ends.

Monochromatic

Lovely day today up here in Scotland. I have been very good strimming my grass in my garden and tidying up, so I thought I would give myself a little bit of crafting time as a treat. :)

Here I have made a monochromatic card using a gorgeous Saturated Canary image. She was a freebie on the Saturated Canary blog.I coloured her in with Pro Markers.

I used a sheet of DP from Paper Mania. Layered this on lots of white and black card stock. The stick on pearls are from my local craftshop, and the rosette is made with a Tim Holtz die.

The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamp set from Hampton Arts. My hubby is away for three weeks working on his oil rig and I miss him so much, I decided to do a soppy card. :)

Thanks for coming by. Hope you all have a fab saturday!

I used First Edition DP, Christmas Joy. The stick on pearls and charm are from my local craft shop. The hat pins and mini peg I purchased on Ebay. The twine I recycled from a package from my granny. :)

The image I used is an old Christmas Tilda from Magnolia. (Totally forgot she was in my stash!)I coloured her in with Pro Markers and added a bit of glitz with some glitter from Craft Planet. I used my Cuttle bug machine to cut out the scalloped circle.

I also used a scalloped border punch, and also an oval and a scalloped oval punch for the sentiment. Stamped the sentiment with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Art.

Not made a christmas card since last year, and it was so much fun.

Hippie Goth Girl

Hello there.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer holidays. :)

Here is a little card I have made using Squiggle Stamps 'Stamp of the Week', Hippie Goth Girl. From the range Goth Kidz.

I coloured her in with Pro Markers, as usual. My favourite for colouring in.

The DP are from DCWV. (street lace) Love these sooo much!! Used a little Magnolia picket fence die cut and a SU border stamp for the cut edge. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up.

The little heart shaped stick on gems I purchased on Ebay.

I have my own little Facebook page now for my cards, stamps, murals etc, if anyone fancies coming over for a nosy. Trying to get as many likes as I can. Squiggle Stamps has also got a new FB page, plus a DT call and a Silly Sale too...so head over and grab some summer bargains!

Squiggle Stamps - Home Decor

Afternoon.

We have some sunshine up here in Scotland today, just a wee bit, and it's windy. But it's better than rain! Some forest walking with the kids is in order after lunch.

Another fun challenge over at Squiggle Stamps, another fortnight has passed by so quickly. This time the theme is 'Home Decor', one of my favourites!! The DT has made some lovely alterations, so why not pop over for a nosy and join us. :)

I have made two projects. I have gone all heart-tastic on this challenge. Here is the first one.

A while ago, my lovely super crafty talented friend Tracy gave me this weathered wooden heart to decorate as a gift. I think she found it in TK Maxx of all places. She is the best crafty bits and bobs hunter I know. :)

The image I used is called Miss Evie, Frills and Flowers. I used a SU scalloped circle punch and punched the top of the  image out and coloured her in with Pro Markers.

Teared two strips of DP to decorate, they are from Prima. The 'Love' sentiment is cut out of the paper.

Love making stuff for the house. Not so sure Hubby is that impressed with millions of shabby chic things hanging from doorhandles, cupboards and ceilings. :)

For my second project I used a mini wooden heart (bought this on Ebay in bulk for a VERY reasonable  price) and decorated it.

The papers are from The Paper Company Studio. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. Used some stick on pearl flourishes from Creative Impressions. The white organza ribbon is from Anita's.

The image I used is called Hippie Goth Girl. She is currently our Stamp Of The Week on Facebook.. I cut the top of the image our, coloured her in with Pro Markers.

Squiggle now has a brand new Facebook page and so have I. ( Evelina Wikberg Designs ) We would for you to come along and have a look and like us. And don't forget Squiggle has a DT call at the moment and a super silly sale, so grab a bargain or two!

Thanks for popping past.

Have a great sunday.

Summer ATC

Afternoon.

Up early this morning doing washing and the normal mummy stuff. Got a bit distracted and spent an hour making an ATC. :)

Just love colouring in and when I have images sitting, just can't help myself.

The image I have used is called Hippie Goth Girl. She is one of my own designs for Squiggle Stamps and currently is currently our Stamp Of The Week over at the Squiggle FB page. I coloured her in with Pro Markers. Squiggle has currently a DT call and a silly sale on, so grab a bargain or two!!

The DP is from DCWV. Used a SU border stamp to make the scalloped edge. The sentiment is also from SU. The red stick on gems are from my local craft shop. Used some grass die cuts as well. Purchased them on Ebay.

It's actually great some people sell die cut shapes because if you are not sure you want to spend the full amount for a die you can try them out by buying die cut shapes. Or if you just have the one project you need die cuts for, it's a great solution I think. (or if you have spent too many pennies on fancy papers. Lol!)

I now have my very own FB page, I would love to get as many likes as possible, so please come over for a nosy. :)

Well, thank you very much for coming by. Better get back to my housework. :S

Matching card 2

Here is another card, matching with the first one I made on the post below.

I have used an image called Moon Glow, also from Crafts and Me. Yet again I have coloured this image in with Pro Markers and highlighted with my glitter Sakura pen.

The DP are again from My Mind's Eye. The ribbons are freebies from a crafty magazine, charm and hatpins from the local craft shop. Stick on gems from Ebay. Sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Feel like deja vu, now when i have written two posts with the same materials. :)

Love this image, think it must be my favourite. Thanks for coming by.

Matching Card 1

Morning.

Still dull up here in Scotland. Good thing is, lots of crafty time. I have made two matching cards here with the same materials.

Used these Crafts and me digital images by Hannah Lynn, which I absolutely adore and can not get enough of. So easy and fun to colour in.

DP are from My Mind's Eye. They are halloween papers but very versatile, and so yummy, had to use these. Think they have a little bit of Wonderland style to them.

The ribbons were freebies from a craft magazine. The charm and hat pins were purchased from my local craft shop. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. The stick on black gems are from Ebay. Layered this card with lots of black card stock from The Papermill near Aberdeen.

This image from Crafts and Me, is called Dahlia. I coloured her in with Pro Markers and added a bit of glitter with my Sakura pen.

Thanks for coming over for a nosy.

Pink, black and grey

Evening.

Weekend is here! Got some new papers in the post today, so had to use them immediately! :)

The papers are from DCWV. (Street Lace) My face dropped when I got them, they are all gorgeous!! Half the papers are pre glittered and very detailed.

The image is from Squiggle Stamps. She is called Daisy with toadstools. Love the 'red riding hood' style, but I went for pink instead of red.

Squiggle Stamps are currently looking for three new members for their DT for their Challenge Blog, if you are interested. They also have a silly sale on, if you want to grab a bargain or two.

I used Stampin Up punches for the border and the oval around the sentiment. The sentiment is also from SU. The stick on black pearl hearts are from The Craft Cabin & Wedding Crafts, via Ebay.

Layered this card with black and white card stock, purchased at the Paper Mill, near Aberdeen.

Much fun making this card. Gotta go and make another one with these papers tomorrow. Very addictive.

Baby Scrapbook Page

Started doing a bit of scrapbooking again. So nice to have a little book full of memories to look at from time to time.

Here is one of my pages. This photo is of my oldest son, Ciaran, when he was 4 months old. He is now 11! Can't believe he is nearly a teenager, specially after looking at this photo with his chubby cheeks. :)

The papers are from my stash. These are very old but I had a fair pile of them, so decided to use them. I just can't part with left over papers, maybe I should organise myself a bit better, so I know where they are from when I use them. Lol!

I used my little Sizzix sidekick machine for the tags and lettering. Did a bit of taring and layered on brown and blue card stock. The twine I recycled from a package I received from my Gran in Finland. :)

Not very nice day up here again, so I am going to go and make some more crafty things. Thanks for coming past. Enjoy your day.

Birthday Rockabilly/Goth Pop up Card

Here is another card I have made. This one has no stamping or DP on it! Shocking!! :)

I drew this image and the background on thick white card stock. Coloured it all in with Pro Markers. Then I stained the paper with a coffee mixture (mostly water) with a mini ink tool from SU. I layered the image onto red card stock and charred all the edges, and then attached it to black card stock.

This card was for a male's birthday. He is very much into tattooing so I thought I'd try to make something that would suit.

Thanks for coming over.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
