Squiggle Stamps - Colour Board

Hi everyone.

Nearly time for kids to go back to school. Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer.

Over at Squiggle Stamps we have a new challenge, and this time we have a lovely colour board to take inspiration from.

Squiggle Stamps have now a challenge every three weeks, instead of two. So lots of time to join in! :) And a lovely price for the winner and top three too!

For my DT creation, I made a card using (my favourite) Bo Bunny design papers. Love these sunny papers. Layered these with lots of white card stock.

The image is called Hippie Goth Girl. She is from the Goth Kidz range. I coloured her in with Pro Markers. 

The roses are all from my local craft shop. The pins are from my local sewing shop.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Back to normal tomorrow up here in Scotland when the kids go back to school.

Third week for me on the GDT for Craft Your Passion and having such a great time.

This week the theme is 'Power Of Three'. You have to use three of something on your creation this week.

For my GDT creation I have made a card using My Mind's Eye DP. These are Halloween papers but I love them so much and think they are so versatile you can use them for other things than just Halloween. Layered these with lots of black card stock.

The image is from Milk Coffee. She is called Alicia is a Rockstar. Coloured this image in with Pro Marker. The back ground material were a freebie from a crafty magazine. 

The rosette is made with a Tim Holtz die. The charms were a gift from my very lovely friend Heidi. 

The sentiment I have stamped with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts. The mini black pearls came from Ebay.

Lots of fun making this. One more week for me on the GDT for Craft Your Passion. Will be very sad to leave. :(

Afternoon.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer holidays. Seems to have gone so quick! And talking about quick, another fortnight has gone by and there is another fab challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges.  The DT have lots of inspiration for you if you want to pop over for a nosy and join in.

This fortnight the theme is 'Steam Punk'. One of my favourites. Our lovely sponsor this time is My Mum's Craftshop.

For my DT creation I have made a card. I used DP from Bo Bunny. Absolutely obsessed with Bo Bunny. Love them so much! Layered with lots of white card stock.

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs. Coloured this image in with Pro Markers.

The clock die cut is from Tim Holtz. The zip roses were purchased from Ebay. The die cut leaves I cut out with my Cricut Machine. Twine I bought from B&Q.

The bronze wings and clock charm I purchased from my local craft shop. Sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Hello everyone.

Another week has gone by and today there is another great challenge over at Craft Your Passion. I am lucky to be in the GDT the whole of August and having so much fun.  And yet again the DT has made so many gorgeous creations for inspiration. Pop over for a nosy and join in!

The challenge this week is 'Gone Buggy'. We want to see a bug in your images.

This week I have made a card using First Edition DP. Some of the papers in the stack is already pre glittered, which I absolutely love!

The image I have used from Bugaboo Stamps is called Butterfly, from the range Bugaboo Brats Bugs. I coloured this cute digi stamp in with Pro Markers.

The ribbon I got as a freebie in a magazine. The hat pins and stick on pearls are from my local craft shop. 

I used a scalloped border punch from Stampin Up for the scalloped edge. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up, and yet again I used Stampin Up punches for the sentiment. 

I layered this card on lots of white card stock which I  purchased from The Paper Mill in Aberdeen.

Hello everyone.

So chuffed, lucky me, made it for a GDT position for Craft Your Passion the whole of August. Very exciting indeed. This is my first creations as a member of their GDT.

This week over at Craft Your Passion, the theme is everyones favourite 'Anything Goes'. There is three lovely sponsors this week.

I have made two little projects. Here is the first one....

Here I have made a little wall hanger with some DP from DCWV. (Street Lace) I did a lot of layering with grey and white card stock, which I purchased in the Moray Office Supplies in Elgin. 

The hatpins, stick on pearls pearl stems are from my local craft shop.

The gorgeous heart ribbon I purchased from East of India. The sentiment I stamped out with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Art. I used some Stampin Up punches for the oval and scalloped oval for the sentiment. 

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs. She is called Kutie Kim Roller Girl. Coloured her in with Pro Markers.

For my project number two I decorated, everyones favourite, a Toffifee chocolate box.

For this creation I used DP from My Minds Eye. I used a scalloped Stampin Up border punch and the sentiment is also from there. 

The image is from Whoopsie Daisy. This image comes in a set of four different images. 

I coloured this image in with Pro Markers. I also did a bit of paper piercing and added a little bow I cut out for her hair. 

The butterfly die cut is from Martha Stewart. The ribbon I got as a freebie from a magazine. The pins and charm are from my local craft shop.

Lots of fun making this, the hard part was not to open the chocolate and eat it! :)

Hey everyone.

Another fortnight have gone by so quickly. And here we have another fab challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges. Lots of gorgeous DT creations, so why not pop over for a nosy and join in. :)

For my DT project this fortnight I decided to take an old frame I found in my craft stash and spice it up a bit. (I am SO bad, have about ten of these, still packaged up in plastic!!)

The DP are from DCWV, they are called Street Lace. I layered with lots of black and grey card stock to make it pop out a bit.

The image was a freebie from Saturated Canary. I coloured her in with Pro Markers. The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts. Can't get enough of these! 

The ribbon was a freebie from a magazine. I made one piece into a bow and the other one I gathered up and sew a line to make it look rouched. 

The hat pins, craft wire, heart charm, bead spacers and mini beads are from my local craft shop. The stick on graphite pearls are from Habico.

I went totally punch and die daft on this project. For the image I used a die from Crafts -Too. For the scalloped borders I used a Stampin Up punch. 

The heart shaped die is from Spell binders Nestabilities. For the big flower I used a Tim Holtz die for the rosette. I also used a circle, a scalloped circle and Boho flower punches, all from Stampin Up.

Really enjoyed making this. Am obsessed by colouring grey scale at the moment, so my house will no doubt be full of little projects in frames. :}

Squiggle Stamps - Stash Attack

Another fortnight has gone so quickly. Time just seems to fly by over the holidays. And here is another challenge over at Squiggle Stamps.

This fortnight the challenge is Stash Attack. You always find something in your stash you have forgotten about. So you are to use things from your stash for this challenge.

I am sure most of you have some things in your stash you have meant to use but never did. Here is your chance!!

There is a fab prize for one lucky winner and for the top three you get to pick an image of your choice.

For my DT project I decided to decorate a little jar I purchased in Matalan. They were £1 for the little ones and £2 for the big ones. Love a bargain! 

The image is called Frills, from the Jessabelles range. I coloured her in with Pro Markers. The rosette I made with a Tim Holtz die. I also used a scalloped circle punch from Stampin Up to punch for the image.

Made a little tag for the lid. The ribbon and charm is from Stash. I ribbon is recycled from a christmas present from last year.  The sentiment I stamped with my mini alphabet stamps from Hampton Arts.

The DP are from Paper Mania. The ribbons are from my stash. The black one was a freebie from a magazine which I gathered and sew on and the spotty one is from Anita's.

I used a Stampin Up scalloped edge punch for the paper. Going to fill this jar with lots of sweeties. Great for a little present. This jar is air tight so ideal for treats.
