Pink, black and grey

Evening.

Weekend is here! Got some new papers in the post today, so had to use them immediately! :)

The papers are from DCWV. (Street Lace) My face dropped when I got them, they are all gorgeous!! Half the papers are pre glittered and very detailed.

The image is from Squiggle Stamps. She is called Daisy with toadstools. Love the 'red riding hood' style, but I went for pink instead of red.

Squiggle Stamps are currently looking for three new members for their DT for their Challenge Blog, if you are interested. They also have a silly sale on, if you want to grab a bargain or two.

I used Stampin Up punches for the border and the oval around the sentiment. The sentiment is also from SU. The stick on black pearl hearts are from The Craft Cabin & Wedding Crafts, via Ebay.

Layered this card with black and white card stock, purchased at the Paper Mill, near Aberdeen.

Much fun making this card. Gotta go and make another one with these papers tomorrow. Very addictive.

Thanks for coming by.

Baby Scrapbook Page

Started doing a bit of scrapbooking again. So nice to have a little book full of memories to look at from time to time.

Here is one of my pages. This photo is of my oldest son, Ciaran, when he was 4 months old. He is now 11! Can't believe he is nearly a teenager, specially after looking at this photo with his chubby cheeks. :)

The papers are from my stash. These are very old but I had a fair pile of them, so decided to use them. I just can't part with left over papers, maybe I should organise myself a bit better, so I know where they are from when I use them. Lol!

I used my little Sizzix sidekick machine for the tags and lettering. Did a bit of taring and layered on brown and blue card stock. The twine I recycled from a package I received from my Gran in Finland. :)

Not very nice day up here again, so I am going to go and make some more crafty things. Thanks for coming past. Enjoy your day.

Some news from me. I have made the August Guest DT for the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog! So exciting!!! I put my name on because I really like their challenge and how lucky am I, getting picked randomly. Really looking forward to joining in with the team in August. Watch this space...got heaps of new papers and everything. :)

Also over at Squiggle Stamps we are now looking for three new members to join our DT. If you are interested, don't hesitate. Would be lovely if you wanted to join us.

Have a good day.

Here is some information from the Squiggle Blog...

We are looking to expand our Design Team here at Squiggle Stamps. We are looking for three lovely talented people to join us. We have a fun challenge every two weeks on a sunday and all you have to do is make a creation for the blog. It could be a scrapbook page, a card, jewellery, altered art, anything crafty as long as it has a Squiggle image on it.

Our DT members get access to our images so there is lots to choose from when making your project.

We also have a Facebook page and DT members can join in to post and create projects for our wall.

All you have to do is send us an email with your blog address and let us know a little about your self.

This DT call is open till the 22nd of July.

Looking forward to a bit of blog browsing. :)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Birthday Rockabilly/Goth Pop up Card

Here is another card I have made. This one has no stamping or DP on it! Shocking!! :)

I drew this image and the background on thick white card stock. Coloured it all in with Pro Markers. Then I stained the paper with a coffee mixture (mostly water) with a mini ink tool from SU. I layered the image onto red card stock and charred all the edges, and then attached it to black card stock.

This card was for a male's birthday. He is very much into tattooing so I thought I'd try to make something that would suit.

Thanks for coming over.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Summer Scrapbook Page

Hello there.

Still not very summery up here in Scotland, but it was dry today. Me and the boys went to the park and for a walk and it was really nice. It's been raining constantly for days now so we were chuffed to get out. :)

I decided to do a scrap book page with an old photo of me and my first son. (he is now 11 and cringe every time I show him pictures of his as a baby. Hahah..)

We are on a beach called Roseisle. The sky was so blue. I had to use this photo. Please excuse my pink hair. :)

I have used DP from First Edition. I tried to make it simple. The stick on pearls and jewels are from Hobby Craft. The flowers were cut out from the paper. The paper is already pre glittered, love that!!

Thanks for coming by. Hope you all got good weather wherever you are. :)

Dream Valley Challenges - 36 - Anything but square.

Here we are again with another great challenge from Dream Valley Challenges. This fortnight the theme is 'Anything BUT Square'.

Two sponsors this fortnight. Over at One Stop Card Crafts you can win a £10 gift voucher.

And over at Meljen's designs one lucky winner will get 4 images of their choice.

I had a paper mache P I purchased out of Hobby Craft over a year ago in my stash, so I decided to do a P for Paris. :) (quite a bargain at £1.99 per letter!)

\

DP are from Prima. The hat pins and heart charm is from my local craft shop. The tags are cut out from the paper. The layered flowers are cut out with a die from Magnolia.

Love these flowers, they are so delicate and so so...gorgeous! They were cut out on white card stock, I inked them to match the papers. The stick on pearls are from Habico.

Hope to see you all join in with us. Have a great week and thanks for coming past.

Fairy Door Hanger

Gorgeous day here in Scotland today. Washing is out and grass is getting strimmed. :) Hope it lasts.

Here is a MDF doorhanger ( purchased this in bulk on Ebay) I have made for a little six year old girl.

The image is from Squiggle Stamps. She is called Fairy Gifts and I coloured her in with Pro Markers. Squiggle has a silly sale on at the moment and also a DT call

DP are from The Paper Company studio. They are double sided, so only used one sheet of 12 inch paper for this project.

The scalloped border, flowers and bunting are all punched out with SU punches. The butterflies are from my stash and the ribbon is from Hobby Craft. The stick on jewels are from my local craft shop.

Thanks for coming by.

Have a great weekend.

Wedding Card

Morning.

Finally got a sunny day yesterday. Really enjoyed it, but looks like the rain is going to be on the rest of the week..scottish weather...:)

Here is a little card I have made for a couple getting married on Friday. It's not a very traditional card, but I thought I'd try to make something different.

The DP are from Prima, the ribbon and stick on jewels are from Hobby Craft. The hat pins are from my local craft shop.

Used my Cuttle Bug machine to cut some shapes, and a Stampin Up punch for the scalloped edge.

The toppers I made myself. I drawer on the back of the card stock and cut it out and did a bit of folding and blinging. Really enjoyed making this card, now to hope the happy couple will like it. :)

Squiggle Stamps Challenges - Red, white and blue

A fortnight has gone so quick. June is such a busy time with all the end of school term activities and such. Can't believe it's the first of July already!

We have a new challenge over at Squiggle Stamps, this fortnight the theme is Red, white and blue, perfect for an Olympic or independence day theme. I however made a card with a bit of a french theme.

I won these DP on a challenge blog, they are by Prima and are called En Francais collection. Really lovely with lots of detail and cutouts. I layered the papers with lots of white card stock.

I used an image from the Jessabelles range, she is called Frills and I coloured her in with Pro Markers. The flowers were punched out with my Boho SU punch. The pom pom ribbon was a freebie from a craft magazine.

There is a summer sale over at Squiggle Stamps, so go for a nosy and grab a bargain. And there is also a DT call at Squiggle, if you are interested. Had lots of fun making this. Hope you all are enjoying your sunday.

Shopping List

Morning.

Well, after a lovely sunny day yesterday, the rain is back again. :( Hopefully it will be sunny over the holidays, otherwise I am going to have some bored little boys in the house.

Here I have decorated a shopping list pad. I bought this pad from Asda. I used some Fancy Pants DP.

The image is from Squiggle Stamps. She is called Frills and is from the range Jessabelles. Coloured her in with ProMarkers.

The ribbon is from my local craft shop and stick on pearls are from Habico. Now I just have to go make  a list for my weekly shopping. :)

Thanks for popping by. Have a great week.
