Birthday Card

Managed to make another card today. Wooh. This one is yet again a personalised birthday card for a lady.  I used DP from Stampin Up. The flowers are punched out with SU punches, as well as the scalloped border and the oval shapes for the sentiment.

The "dear" and "birthday wishes" stamps are from SU swell. I used my Cricut machine (Stamped) for "Laura"and for the oval shapes. The black jewels are purchased from Ebay. (Japan) Layered this card with lots of black card stock.

Took ages making this card, since I had run out of glue and had to one by one cut tiny bits of double sided tape to adhere the black jewels. And then I had run out of envelopes and had to try to make my own. :) Not very organised to day. But I got there in the end.

Thanks for coming over for a look. Have a good week.

Tattoo style card

Another post for me today. Here is another card I have made. Its for a male birthday. I have only used card stock, no DP. :O..shocking...:)

I printed an image of the computer and coloured it in with Promarkers. Stamped the sentiment with mini alphabet stamps. Used some craft wire and added two little card charms.

The person I made this card for is really into tattoos, so thought I'd use that theme.

Thanks for popping by.

Dream Valley 31 - For a special lady

Afternoon.

And it's a sunny one and another great challenge from Dream Valley challenges. This fortnight the theme is "for a special lady". The DT has made some fantastic projects for this challenge. It is well worth going to have a nosy! And it's sponsored by Saturated Canary. One lucky winner can get a $10 voucher to spend on her cute images.

For my DT card I have used 'Lost and Found' DP, from My Minds Eye. Am in love with these papers, they are so yummy! I layered the card with lots of black card stock.

The black bling I purchased on Ebay, as well as the buttons. (they came from Japan, looove them!!!) The ribbon was from an old chocolate box from christmas.

The stamp is a digi, by my own design. She is called Frills, and you can find her on Squiggle Stamps. I coloured her in with Promarkers.

Lots of fun making this card. The more embellishments and layers there are, the happier I am. :) Thank you so much for popping by. I am off to hang out lots of washing, before it starts raining again. :S

First birthday card

Afternoon.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. Have been such a dull week, the weather has been rubbish. Raining non stop. I have had some time to craft though, since kids have been busy making arts and crafts, watching movies and playing games.

Here is a card I have made for a little girl's first birthday. The papers are called Soft Nostalgia, got these as a freebie from a magazine. Quite like them. :)

I used pearl stick ons, and pearl flourishes from Creative Inspiration. For the bunting, flowers and scalloped circle I used my punches from Stampin Up. The Cupcake I handout. ( I sooo want the Stampin Up Cupcake stamp and punch set!! ) I used my Cricut machine and Storybook cartridge for the number one and the name.

Had lots of fun making this. Hope she likes it. Have a lovely sunday afternoon.

Dream Valley Challenges 29 - Wedding/Love

Happy Easter everyone.

Here is my DT card for this fortnight's Dream Valley challenges. The theme for this time is "wedding/love". You can win a £10 voucher from One Stop Card Crafts.

For my DT I have used DP from First Edition. I used lots of white paper roses from the local craft shop and pink organza roses, which I purchased on Ebay. The pearls and pearl flourishes are from Creative Impressions.

The image is from Magnolia. Had to scan it in and make it smaller to fit the card, and print it out. Coloured the image in with Pro Markers. Did a little bit of distressing on the edges of the papers. Lots of fun making this. And one member of our team has got married. Congratulations Mel!

Thanks for coming by to have a look.  Enjoy the holidays!

Eva xx
