Cute Card Thursday 182/Creative Inspirations - Anything goes.

Morning. Here is my birdhouse that I am entering in this weeks Cute Card Thursday. I know it's not a card BUT this week the challenge is "anything goes", so I thought I could enter my birdhouse here. The birdhouse I bought in asda, it was just a plain wooden bird box. I used papers from a christmas magazine pack, from Polka doodles. The flowers and embellishments I purchased in Hobby Craft a couple of weeks ago. The idea for the bunting with "merry christmas" and "joy" I got from the magazine. It has loads of good ideas in it. It was a bit fiddly to cut the paper by hand to fit. The snowy roof I hand cut and inked and glued on. It was so much fun, might do another few of these. New Halloween Stamps

Afternoon. The rain is on up here in Scotland, and the winter is on the way, again, even though we never had a proper summer. :( But on the bright side, Halloween is coming up! Afternoon.

Having a busy time as usual with xmas coming up and heaps to do. Haven't even finished my xmas shopping. Shame on me! Here is a little summary of pictures of some of the things I have done this year artwise, some murals and some black and white art. Have lots of other projects going on at the moment. Sorry I have been absent for a few month. Started college fulltime and still working 3 jobs..ekkk...and my father passed away so have had lots to do! Cupcake challenge - Thanks a bunch

Monday again, don't even know where the weekend has gone. Busy, busy! Managed to make my card for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenges, I only have three weeks left on the DT, so I am making sure I am not missing out. This week the theme is "thanks a bunch", I have made my card using my "My Minds Eye" DP again, and had to use this cute Sugar Nellie image Annie by Leanne Ellis. I coloured her in with promarkers as usual. Ribbon is from Bo Bunny again, used it all now so have to hit the local craft shop to get some more, loooove the polkadot ribbons. The sentiment is from SU and the lettering for "Louise" i did using my Studio G alphabet cube (which I love, it's soo versatile). Stick on bling from Ebay (£1 for 200, bargain!!) Have a manic week ahead of me. Going to Sweden on friday for a week and have college and work all week and lots of tidying in the house, since mother in law is looking after my kiddies when I am away. Jikes! Better get on with some housework and washing so it doesn't pile up on me during the week. Thanks for coming by and have a great week.

Cupcake challenge - Cute as a bug

Morning. Another monday. The weeks are passing so fast, it's hard to keep up with everything. It'll soon be christmas! Have to get on with my xmas cards if I am going to manage making them all. Here is my DT card for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenges. This week the theme is "cute as a bug" and is sponsored by Bee Crafty. We all got a digi stamp to use. I have used "whimsical girl". I coloured her in with promarkers. The DP is from My Minds Eye. Really like the fresh colours. The ribbon is from Bo Bunny. The sentiment stamp is from SU and I also used a couple of SU punches for this card. I am away to college, have a great week.

Cupcake challenge - 58 - Distressing

Hope you all had a great weekend. I had no work all weekend so that was great just to catch up with the housework and a little bit of diy. This weeks over at Cupcake the theme is "distressing". I have made a card using My Minds Eye papers (again..) , love the green and brown autumn colours. For an image I used a cute Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie. I coloured her in with promarkers. The sentiment is from SU (also used the punches from SU for it). The ribbon is from Anitas, the charm and pins are from Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. The stick on gems I got on Ebay. Really enjoyed this. Sanded all the papers and inked the base paper to make it distressed. I am away to go to college. Have a great week!

Cupcake Craft Challenges - 57 - Pearls and Swirls

Happy monday everyone. And it's a sunny one too. Got some spare time today since only had college in the morning so I am turning the house upside down cleaning. Here is the card I made for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme is pearls and swirls. I have used a cute Anya image. I coloured her in with promarkers. The papers are from My Minds Eye. Really like the zingy colours and it was a real bargain aswell. The flowers are from prima, the pearls and jewels I got on Ebay. The charms I got in the local craftshop Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. Used my Cricut machine to cut out the "16" and my little alphabet cube from Studio G for the rest of the lettering. This card is for a girl at my college, she has her 16th birthday on thursday so we have all signed it for her. Right I am away to sort this house out and enjoy some sun before it goes away. Cupcake challenge - Red, blue and white

Good morning everyone. Monday is here again. Can't believe how fast the weeks are dissapearing. Christmas is not far away. This card I have made for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme is red, white and blue. I have made a clean cut card using only plain cardstock from the papermill in Aberdeen. I used my Cricut machine to cut the letters out and the football logo I found on the internet and just printed it out. Very simple but I love the colour combo. Having a busy day today. College til 7pm..ugh....but it's sooo much fun. Getting our uniforms today, sooo excited! Anyways thanks for popping by and have a great week.
