Pregnancy card and cupcake craft challenge 13

Yet another card for a pregnant lady at my work. Have used the Secret Garden papers from Papermania again, just love them. Cut out a sentiment and a picture of a pregnant lady from a papersheet from Provocraft.

It's nice to focus on the mother and not just the bump. The flowery paper at the bottom is a plain green paper that I stamped flowers (freebie stamp from octobers issue of Craftstamper)all over.

Green is such a fresh colour. Really enjoyed making this card. Entering it in the Cupcake craft challenge this week. The theme is spots and dots. I haven't used a lot of spots, but they said you can use as much or as little spots and dots as you want. Was eyeing up some loooovely dotty buttons and ribbons in Papercrafts Boutique in the nearest town to me, Elgin. I just HAVE TO HAVE THEM...very rockabilly, like myself. Hahahh...have a good evening, I am off to work. Thanks for coming by! Oh by the way the price in this weeks Cupcake craft challenge is amazing...join in.... http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/

Flower power

Been a busy bee today!!! Made a few cards, here is one of them. It is for a woman at my work for her 30th birthday. It's quite a small card as you can see on one of the pix. Had fun making it. Used my little Sissix machine to cut out the stems from a flower die to add some detail as well as the super bling on the pic. Went a bit mad, my partner said, when I asked him what he thinks of it, "oh, that's a busy card". Don't know if to take it as "yes, you have put a lot of effort in that card" or "Oh, my eyes are hurting2..hahah! Anyways hope she likes it.

Happy Sugar Nellie birthday!

How time flies, it was a year ago since the first stamps were ordered from Sugar Nellie website. I can't believe it is a whole year since I started doing stamp images for them. So have a happy birthday Sugar Nellie.

Here I have made my Sugar Nellie boss a card (for my very generous xmas bonus) with a Sugar Nellie stamp by Elizabeth Bell. I love that image. I have coloured it in with promarkers ofcourse (buy at http://www.funkykits.co.uk/ )

Have had a very busy time now before xmas. Was facepainting today for 2,5 hours at a coffeemorning for the local brownies. There was a lot of lions and butterflies running around the community centre. It was fun and it's nice to see so many people supporting local things. Got another few of these mornings in the next few weeks, jikes, gotta get on and make things for them aswell.

Have a good weekend and thanks for popping by.

Layered christmas card

I am just obsessed with making xmas cards now and the more layered the better. Made this card yesterday. Haven't got any nestabilities so had to handcut all the shapes which was very time consuming but it was fun. I have also made a ribbon with bells hanging of it on the inside of the card. You can't really see it on the picture. When the card is folded it is on the right handside. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.xxx

Double dutch challenge 4

Had a blast making this challenge this fortnight. You had to pick three techniques out of a list and make something with it. I made a card for a pal of mine. Her daughter is 18 next week so I used the challenge to come up with a card for her.

The techniques I have used are

* punching (tags)

* stamping (all the lettering and sentiments)

* making embellishments (the little birdies I cut out and mounted on thick brown paper)

Had so much fun. Hope you like it.

Goligooo!

Hahah...bet you are all wondering what I am on about. When my oldest son was little and started speaking he always used to shout "goligooo". I had no idea what he was on about but soon found out that it was his word for "cat". So when my good friend Helena knitted baby Jed this cute blue cat we called him Goligo. Jed absolutely loves him and throws him around and sleeps with him. I just love that knitted cat, thank you so much Helena. It's priceless...

Spooky halloween!

Hope you all had a good halloween. We had a great time. Had a party at a pal's with lots of yummy treats and funny games and then we went trick or treating down the street. Ended up with three carrier bags and that was only on my street...am pretty sick of sweets now since I have eaten loads...very naughty indeed. Here is a picture of vampire Ciaran and skeleton Luca just before going out on friday...jikes!!

Acetate card

Hi. Sorry have been a bit of a bad blogger. Been so busy with my dad being here and everything else. He goes home tomorrow so all will be like normal and hopefully I will get time to do some things. Here is a card I made for my friend Helena's birthday. I have used the paper mania secret garden acetate and paper strips that my lovely pal gave me for my birthday. I love these papers and all the accessories. They are so crisp clean looking.

Gonna go and get a bulkload of new papers in the next week so hopefully I can make some exciting stuff next week for you guys. Have got a stall with my pal on saturday at a coffee morning for the local Brownies guides and haven't even started making things....eeekkk..I am getting stressed...lol....

Have a good day and thanks again for looking at my blog.xoxoxoxoxo
