Evening.

Another card made today. For this one I have used papers from Trim Craft (First Edition). The charm, pearl stems, pearl beads and pins are from a local craft shop. The rub ons are from Basic Grey.

The bird cage die cut is by Tim Holtz (got a massive obsession with his stuff at the moment, think every one does) The hearts and swirly bits I hand cut out of the paper and the little silver stars are from Ebay.

I did a little checker pattern on the bottom right hand corner by the sentiment, using strips of paper and also did a lot of paper tearing, one of my favorite easy and effective distress techniques to do. :)

Here is a card I have made for a brand new little baby girl. I have used a card template from Basic Grey and papers and cardboard butterflies are from the same kit. The bling is from Papermania. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters. The card has a funky magnetic clasp to hold it together.

Here is a card I have made for a lady's 60th birthday. I used Laura Ashleigh papers, bling, ribbons, Prima flowers, bling, brads (papermania) and heart charm is purchased in PaperCrafts Boutique in Elgin. The pins,pearl stick ons and everything else is from Bee Crafty in Elgin. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters and numbers. Lots of fun making this card. Just love the suttle colours on the papers and most of all the glitter. Am like a mag pie in the craft shop when I see something sparkly.

Here is another wedding card I have made. For this one I used the gorgeous Laura Ashley papers again. Ribbons, bling, roses and charm is from Crafts Boutique in Elgin.

The pins are from the local craft shop. The doily hearts I purchased on Ebay. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters and I also hand cut a lot of flowers from the paper.

Here is a card I have made for my friend Helena's daughter Amelia's tenth birhday. I can't believe she is going to be ten. I have known her since she was in nappies.

Here is a little project I did for my little friend, Erin. She is really into horses so I thought I would make her a wall hanger with her name on it and some horses. I used Laura Ashleigh papers, some pins and ribbons from the local craft shop in Elgin. Bling from Ebay and Hobby Craft.

I used my Cricut machine for the letters. The images are my own design called Raggy Pony, you can get this digital stamp from Squiggle Stamps. I colured these in with promarkers.

Hope everyone is having a good week. I have been crafting all week and got about four cards to put up. This first one is a card I have made for a wedding. I have used Laura Ashley papers. ribbon, charms, pins and bling from my local craft shop.

I used my Cuttle Bud machine for the shape in the middle. The sentiment I printed out on my computer. I am obsessed by these papers, specially when they have sparkles on them. :)

Happy new year to everyone. And here is my project for Dream Valleys first challenge this year. The challenge is "Anything goes", and I have made a little handbag, to put goodies in.

I have used a Anya image, and coloured her in with promarkers. The papers are from Bo Bunny and Scenic Route Paper Co. The flowers are all cut out from the paper, the bling and pins from a local craftshop. The ribbon is from stash. The pearls are from Bee Crafty in Elgin, i attached these together with craftwire from Hobby Craft. The little flower separators I got on Ebay.

I have enclosed a picture of the template. This is a very easy project to do. Just a bit of double sided tape and you are away. :)

Here is another little wall hanger I have made. This one is for Hello Kitty lover Hannah. She is five and have Hello Kitty EVERYTHING. :) I drew the Hello Kitty face and coloured it with promarkers. The papers which I used for the flowers are from my stash. I have tried to do lots of layers and used a lot of coloured cardstock, which I purchased in The Paper Mill just out of Aberdeen. I used a lot of Craft Planet glitter glue to bling it up. All girls love glitter. Even big ones. :) The letters are cut out with my Cricut machine. The cartridge is called 'All Mixed Up'. Evening. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. This is a little personalised wall hanger, which I have been working on today. I decorated a few cardboard beer coasters . which I asked very nicely if I could have from the local pub, and attached them to each other using craft wire. The papers are from Bo Bunny, Crafts too and Daisy do. I used my Cricut machine to cut the tags, letters and heart shapes. I have also used two shopping Anya images from the Greeting Farm. I coloured these in promarkers. I just love anything from the Greeting Farm, one of my favorite stamps companies. The craft wire and ribbons are from Hobby Craft. The pins are from Bee Crafty in Elgin. The bling I purchased on Ebay. Lots of fun making this. I am making this as a little stocking filler for my lovely neighbour Sherri's daughter Caitlin. She loves shopping and is a girlie girl so hopefully she will like it. Oh and my neighbour has four girls all together so I better get myself in gear and make the other three their hangers. :) Thanks for popping by.

Dream Valley 22/ Christmas

Evening. Hope everyone had a good Sunday. This is my first little project as a member of the Dream Valley challenge design team. The theme this fortnight is 'Christmas'. I have decorated a mini tin bucket, which I purchased at Hobbycraft.

The ribbon, craft wire and little silver bells are from there too. The pins you can get in any sewing shop. Think even Tesco have these. The paper and sentiment were from a freebie in a magazine.

You can use these buckets to hang in your christmas tree or as a stocking filler and fill them with little presents or sweets. Thanks for coming by. If you want to join in and have a nosy at the other DT members fantastic work, you can do that HERE.

Tilda decoration

So close to Christmas now and I am getting all excited. Still a couple of small bits and bobs to buy, but nothing major. Very organised this year. Did stress december shopping last year, and it was a nightmar, so decided to be good this year and get it sorted before december. Just got my tree up and still making decorations for my house. Here is a little project I made this morning.For Deep Ocean challenge this week I have chosen "circle" for my "C" challenge. I have used a Tilda image, which I coloured in with Pro Markers. The papers are from Berry Merry, by Jennifer Ellory. I used my Cuttlebug machine and some Spell binders to cut the circle shapes and made little stars (this is really easy, you can find a tutorial HERE ) Lots of fun to make this. My whole house is going to be full of paper things. :) Thanks for looking.

Sorry, a bit absent this week, have had computer trouble. It seems to be working fine today, so here is a card I made this morning. I have used Forever Friends papers and some cute Hanglar images, which I coloured in with pro markers. The side board image is from Magnolia. The bling is from Ebay. The sentiment and embellishments were cut out from the papers. For this weeks My time to craft I have used two sentiments that are the same. Oh, getting excited now, almost finished my christmas shopping and my cards. Can't wait to put up the decorations and be all christmassy. :) This morning I have made a very snowy card. I used a little Tilda image and coloured her in Pro Markers. The punch outs and sticker border and all the papers are from The Nit Wits Heavenly Collection. The felt flowers are from Tesco's kiddie craft bit. I sprinkled some tiny sparkly confetti onto some glue at the bottom and on the flowers to make it look snowy and wintery. Thanks for coming by.

Oh what a soppy card I have made here. :) I decided to make a card without stamping today, so I have used sentiments and images on the papers and cut them out. The papers are from Paper Adventures (Carolyn Holt) and so gorgeous. The buttons and eyelets are all from old stash, that I came upon when I tidied out all my craft stuff. Really love it when you find something in the bottom of your stash and think "hey, this is just what I need". I did use some nest abilities to cut out one of the flowers, the one on the front are just a few circles that I handout and inked up. Did lots of taring on the papers, love the effect it gives. Yellow card stock is from the Paper Mill in Aberdeen. Pretty clean cut card for me, but really enjoyed making it. Have a good saturday. :)

Can't believe my boys are getting so big. It was over two years ago I put pictures up of them on my blog. The two biggest ones just had their hair cut today, and were really happy with the result. The little one won't sit still and yaps all the time, so I do his hair myself. :) I am so lucky to have these three. They are such lovely, helpful boys. Have a great weekend. x

Cotton Reel Christmas Decoration

Afternoon. Last week I bought gorgeous fabric ribbons from a local shop, and used it all instantly of course. I was left with a load of cardboard cotton reels, and thought what a waste to throw them away...so, here I have decorated one to use as christmas decorations. Hanging in christmas tree, or on the wall or in a window. Haven't decided yet what to do with mine, and might decide to make some more. I have used scraps of Making Memories papers. The "25" I punched out with a SU punch. I did a lot of hand cutting, the hearts, tag and swirly scroll are all handcut. I used a lot of craft paper to layer all the cutouts and the image, which is a Hanglar image. I coloured her in with pro markers. The red ribbon is from Ewe and me and the yellow one is from stash. The pins I bought in Bee Crafty. I used craft wire for the pearls (pearls are from The Craft Factory) and decided them with some small silver flowers. Craft wire is great, it bends anyway you want. I used a tiny knitting pin to twirl the ends of the craft wire. Had a great time making this, even though there was a lot of work with small bits and bobs. Thanks for coming for a nosy. Christmas Wall Hanger

Afternoon. Here is a little project I did this morning. It's a christmas wall hanger, another item to add to my home made decorations. :) For this project I used craft paper and the dotty paper I had in my stash box. Think it came with a magazine. The punch outs are from Making Memories, the fabric ribbon is from Ewe and Me, the pins are from Bee Crafty and the snow flakes are from Hobby Craft. I managed to squeeze in a little Tilda angel image too, and coloured her in pro markers. The little calendar is from Hobby Craft too. I attached the bits and pieces together with craft wire and made some little paper beads at the bottom. This project took me about an hour from start to finish so it was a fast one. Had lots of fun making it never the less. I am away to make some soup now for my boys when they come home from school starving as ever. Thanks for looking.

Evening. Finally got time this evening to prepare a card and a christmas tree bauble for my lovely granny, that lives in Finland. She is past 90 and an amazing person, so I thought I'd make her something extra on top of her presents this christmas. I liked this weeks Mojo sketch so much, thought I'd be perfect for even a small project, like the bauble. For Christmas stamping all year the challenge is "your favourite sketch", I have a few favourites, but this one is definitely one of them. I purchased the bauble last year in Tesco's, it came in a pack of four. It was very cheap, if I can remember right it was £5 or less for the pack. The papers I used on these little projects are from Paper Adventures and The Paper Company Studio. For the card I used a little Tilda angel image and for the bauble her little star. I coloured these in with pro markers. The bling is from the poundshop, and the ribbon on the bauble from stash. On the back of the bauble I put a little picture of my three boys, her great grand children and I put some white tiny antique glass beads in the bauble too. They are from Mill Hill. There was a bit on hang cutting involved in this, but I also used my cuttlebug machine and some spell binders to get the shapes. Thank you for coming past. :)

Afternoon. Winter is surely coming, it's very frosty here today. So fittingly I have made a christmas card featuring a Tilda image masked onto a snow scene. I coloured this in with pro markers and used some Reeves Glitter Glue to make it shiny. All the papers, ribbons, buttons and cutouts are from a freebie from a magazine I got my hands on called "Simply Homemade", really love the colours. The bling is from Ebay, the wooden snowflakes from Hobby Craft and the pins are from Bee Crafty in Elgin. The little aqua snowflake was a brad from Dovecraft, but I cut the bits at the back of it to use it as a charm. The little wooden "merry christmas" sign I purchased in a local shop called Ewe and Me for £1. Had lots of fun making this. Nearly sorted with all my christmas cards for this christmas, been doing it for months. :) Have a good week.

Ohh...bought this magazine today called "Homemade". Didn't know you were going to get gorgeous papers and embellishments with it. So I have used some of the papers to make this card. Surprised, papers were good quality, sometimes when you get freebies from magz, they are too flimsy to make anything with, but these were good. I used a Magnolia Tilda image and masked her onto a heart and coloured her in with pro markers. She is sparkly, perfect for todays bon fire night with all the fireworks. Everything on this card is from the freebies from the mag, except the image and the pins, which are purchased in Bee Crafty in Elgin. Finally weekend, and a bit of rest after the busy week I have had with my boys. Tonight is bonfire night so that will be fun. Here is a project I have made, I am determined to have lots of home made christmas decorations so here is one of them. I have made christmas bunting using lots of Magnolia Tilda and Edwin images. And objects too. I coloured all of them in with pro markers. The papers and punch outs and bling is all Making Memories. The wooden hearts are from Hobby Craft and the gorgeous fabric ribbons I purchased in Ewe and Me in Aberlour. T:) here was a lot of hand cutting involved in this. My hands were in agony afterwards. Haha...anyways so much fun, tempted to make another one...:) Shame it's a good few weeks until you can put your christmas decorations up, I have loads now. What a day. Rain and dull, typical scottish autumn. But great for sitting indoors with your craft stash. Today I have made a little tag using My Mind's Eye christmas papers and a little Tilda angel image which I coloured with pro markers. The ribbon and wooden snowflake are from Hobby Craft. Here is a door hanger I have made ready for christmas. I used Hanglar/Stanglar images and coloured them in with pro markers. I added "God Jul" with a black pen, which is Merry Christmas in swedish. I used papers from Doodle Bug, the ribbon and button are from stash. Used my Cricut machine to make scalloped edges. The bling is from My Mind's Eye. Here is a card I have made with some yummy My Mind's Eye papers, punch outs and embellishments. I have used a Tilda image and a Magnolia chair image, which I coloured in with pro markers. The wooden snowflakes are from Hobby Craft. I have glittered the edges of the cutouts with gold glitter but sorry, the picture doesn't show it up that good. The pins are from Bee Crafty in Elgin. Lots of fun making this. Love the papers, more projects with these to come. :)

Little mini book and box

Weather is absolutely horrible today, winds and rain, so what else to do than make a little project. :) Here I have decorated a little box and mini book by 7 Gypsies. I have used yummy Basic Grey christmas papers and distressed all the edges and embellishments with ink and the flowers are punched out with EK Success punches, I scrunched these up to make them look distressed. I used some mini white glass beads for the centre of the flowers and attached them with some aqua glitter glue. The bling is from Poundland. The ribbons are from Bee Crafty in Elgin. The red letters and "family tradition"sentiment are stickers from Bo Bunny. Made some paper beads for the front of the mini book and attached them to some craft wire. For the house at the back of the book I used a template from a Polka Doodles christmas magazine pack. The snowy roof I drew and coloured with pro markers and used a little bit of forest green ink to make it match. Also punched out a little circle with cuttle bug die cut and embossed it with a little snow scene and inked that up. The pins I also purchased in Bee Crafty. Had lots of fun making this and I just couldn't wait till christmas to give this to my future in laws so I did it today. And they liked it, which is the important bit. So very pleased. Afternoon. Think I must have mid life crisis. Made this card and it's so busy, I don't know where to start with it. :D Anyways I have used a Hanglar image and coloured her in with pro markers. The sentiments, embellishments and the little crown are from Making Memories. The papers are Bo Bunny. The pink and stringy aqua ribbons and pink and blue button I recycled from an old bag I had decorated a few years ago. The orange ribbon is from stash. The big blingy jewels I got in Poundland. (!!) Afternoon. Having a lovely sunday, roast is on and have been out for a walk. Managed to make a card using my new Bo Bunny papers (yum, yum) which my lovely friend Tracy gave me for my birthday. Thank you, Tracy!!! (and they now come in 6 inch pads!!!) I used loads of stick on jewels that I purchased from Bee Crafty in Elgin. The little bunting sentiment is from Making Memories. I used a Squiggle Stamp image, she is called Fairy Wish, you can find her here. She is so cute, I just had to use her and she was a dream to colour in. I use my cuttle bug machine and scalloped circle Spellbinders to cut out the image and the background.

Morning. Sun is out today, so won't get a lot of crafting done, and it's my birthday! :DDD I managed to make a card this morning, using a few of my new stamp designs available here, they are called Ginger boy, Ginger girl and Ginger bread house. I coloured them in with pro markers. I also used papers from Basic Grey and The Paper Company. The ribbon is from Celebrate. The pins and mini glass beads I got in Bee Crafty in Elgin. I used EK Success punches to make the flowers and the white felt flowers I got in Tesco kiddies isle for crafting. I am entering this card in two challenges. At Daring Cardmakers you have to include a bird on your card, I have a little border with aqua robins at the top of my card, and there is a fab price from the The Ribbon Reel for the lucky crafter, who doesn't love ribbon and lace! YUM! :) At Crafty cardmakers they have a new design team, so go check it out for inspiration. Some lovely things to drool over there. Another Halloween card for me, and this time I have used one of my own stamp designs. :O And am really pleased it was fun to colour in. She is called Scarecrow Girl and can be purchased at Squiggle Stamps. I coloured her in with pro markers. I used Basic Grey Papers (which was given to my by my lovely friend Tracy) , ribbon and bling from stash. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. The cutouts came in a big pack, but for the life of me I can't remember who they are by. So if you recognise them, please let me know. Had them for a couple of years now and still got heaps left. Morning. Brrr...very cold today, winter is definitely on the way. Here is a card I made last night with another Krista Smith (saturated canary) stamp, she is called Vampire Rose. I coloured her in with pro markers. The papers are mostly from my stash, but the dotty ones are from Aunt Gerti's garden. The flowers I punched out with EK Success punches and the pink intricate border cut out with a sizzix die, and the bling is from Hobby Craft. The lock is from Tim Holtz. Can't get enough of his stuff at the moment. The sentiment I embossed and inked and I made some paper beads and attached them with some craft wire. I am entering this card in these challenges; :)

Halloween Card

Evening. Here Ihave made a card with YET another Saturated Canary image. It's called Ragdoll witch and she is just adorable. I have coloured her in with pro markers, as usual, and highlighted with my glitter Sakura pen. (can't get enough of it at the moment) The papers are from Making Memories and Basic Grey. The ribbons are from Anita's. The sentiment I embossed with a Sizzix folder and inked, same as the spider in the corner. I used EK Success punches for the flowers, inked and roughed them up and attached them with Tim Holtz brads. Had loads of fun making this, I am a huge Halloween fan, best time of the year. Rainy day today, so what better to do than some crafting. Here is a card I made for this weeks Simon says stamp. The theme is sparkle and bling. I am also entering this in the Secret Crafter challenge, this week the theme is anything goes as long as it sparkles. I have used a Saturated Canary stamp called Frizzyjinx. I coloured her in with pro markers and added a bit of sparkle with my sakura sparkle pen. The ribbons are from Anita's, the bling from Hobby Craft. The papers are from Urban Lily, the urban gypsy collection. I have used my sakura pen on the papers aswell to add extra sparkle. The shapes were cut out with my Cuttlebug machine. Evening. Here is a card I am entering in this weeks Polkadoodles challenge. The theme is handmade flowers. I have used EK Success punches to make the flowers. I roughed them up a bit , inked them and put a brad through them (brads are from Tim Holtz) The papers are from Lily Kate and my stash. The bling is from Hobby Craft. The image I used is from Squiggle Stamps, and it's called "Love Birds". I coloured the image in with pro markers. I used my cuttle bug machine to make the oval shape and the frame. I also did some border embossing at the bottom half. The sentiments are from the paper from my stash, I can't remember who it's by, shame on me...:) Well, thanks for coming by, I am off to see if I can fit another little craft project in tonight. :)

Morning. Have made a little project that I am entering in this weeks "Sweet Pea Dream challenge" The theme is anything goes. I have bought a little 4 by 6 inch frame from Tesco's and decorated the inside with Bo Bunny papers, some buttons from stash, some wooden hearts from Hobby Craft and an image from Saturated Canary. She is called Violet and I coloured her with pro markers. I also used my glitter sakura pen to give a bit of sparkle. The charms are all from Ebay and the pin I got in Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. challenge I have made a card using Making Memories papers, brass coloured charms (that I purchased in Bee Crafty in Elgin, ribbon and buttons I got for my birthday last year (all halloween coloured..mmm...)The main image is by Saturated Canary Frankenstein, I coloured her in with pro markers. Love all her images to bits! Just can't get enough of them. The haunted house image I scanned and printed from this months "Simply Cards and Paper Crafts'", you got two pages of free halloween images by David Parkins. Had so much fun making this. Here I have tried to do a clean cut card again, and this one I am entering in Magical Monday Challenge. The theme is Christmas in September. I have used white and dark green card stock from the Paper Mill in Aberdeen. The papers are designed by Emma Schonenberg. The snow man image and tags and sentiment, were all matching cutouts from the same paper range. The bling is from Hobby craft and the brad was from stash. Cut the "smiles" bauble and attached the brad so that you can slide up and write your chrismas message in. Thanks for popping by. :)

Here is a note book tag card I have made for my future step daughter Paige's birthday. She is 5 on wednesday and loves PINK. So I though I would make her something that she could keep, so I put some pictures in and then she can scribble in the note pad. I have used Bo Bunny and Lilykate papers. The ribbon is from "celebrate", the buttons and bling are from hobby craft. The little star charm I purchased on Ebay. The red wooden hearts I also bought from Hobby Craft. The numbers and letters are from a sticker sheet from Bo Bunny swell ( a very nice lady called Tracy gave me these :) )The notepad is from Asda (costs pence) and the tag book that I decorated I found in my stash box so, have no idea where it came from, sorry. I am entering this card in this weeks "Our Creative Corner" challenge. The theme is "numbers". The design team has some really funky creations. Had lots of fun making these. Have a good day. :)

Afternoon. Trying out this challenge this week, All Sorts. This week the theme is "keep it simple". I always cram as much things as I possible can on my cards and projects, so thought this would be a challenge for me. To keep it clean and simple and no embellishments :O. So I have used paper designed by Alison Butler. The sentiment is a cut out from these papers too. The red and white card stock I purchased at the Papermill in Aberdeen. I made this card an easel fold card, love "stand up" cards. The leather thongs I used is from my stash. Afternoon. Got my hands on these lovely Saturated Canary digi stamps yesterday, and couldn't help myself..had to make a card straight away! :) So here I have used the image Violet and coloured her in with pro markers. Also used my silver sakura pen, to add some sparkle. The papers I have used are designed by Kelly Panacci for Sandy Lion. I layered them with white card stock from the paper mill in Aberdeen. Ribbon and bling are from Hobby Craft. The aqua flowers are from Prima. The little dragon fly charm I bought in Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin, and the alphabet beads and the white roses are purchased on Ebay. I am entering this card in two challenges this week, Cute Card Thursday, which is one of my fav challenges. This week they have a sketch. The other one is Colour Create, another of my favourites. Evening. Thought I'd squeeze a little project in before bedtime. Bought a little tin bucket (or actually several...) from Hobby Craft the other day. Thought the little ones would be great for putting in the xmas tree and of course, the big ones would be great for pressie. I made a christmas card this morning, since I have millions to make before christmas, so trying to be organised. Here I have made a card with a Magnolia image, which I coloured in with Pro Markers (which are my fav). The papers are really funky, they were given to me by my lovely friends, so I have no idea where they are from. Sorry. Ribbons and embellishments are all from Hobby Craft. The craft wire I bought on Ebay and the little hearts attached to it are hand cut. I am entering this card in this weeks Winter Wonderland Challenge. I have never entered this challenge before, but I think I might join in every week. They are encouraging people to make a christmas card every week, which will give everyone some motivation to get cracking. :) This weeks challenge is "girly christmas", hence why I have included the Magnolia image. Morning. Here is my birdhouse that I am entering in this weeks Cute Card Thursday. I know it's not a card BUT this week the challenge is "anything goes", so I thought I could enter my birdhouse here. The birdhouse I bought in asda, it was just a plain wooden bird box. I used papers from a christmas magazine pack, from Polka doodles. The flowers and embellishments I purchased in Hobby Craft a couple of weeks ago. The idea for the bunting with "merry christmas" and "joy" I got from the magazine. It has loads of good ideas in it. It was a bit fiddly to cut the paper by hand to fit. The snowy roof I hand cut and inked and glued on. It was so much fun, might do another few of these. Finally got myself back to my blog. Have not been blogging for nearly two years. Totally lost my mojo and desire to draw and craft. But now I am getting into it again, and decided to make an effort with my blog again. Have started designing digital stamps for Squiggle stamps, got a few ranges out and more to come! Even done a few craft projects, which I will be putting up in the next few days. Here is a tattoo inspired drawing I did and put on a card for my partner's brothers birthday. I coloured it in with pro markers and then stained it with a coffee mix and a sponge. Really like the distressed and old look. I will be doing some work to update my blog in the next couple of weeks, so please bare with me. Thanks for looking. :)

Cupcake challenge - Thanks a bunch

Monday again, don't even know where the weekend has gone. Busy, busy! Managed to make my card for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenges, I only have three weeks left on the DT, so I am making sure I am not missing out. This week the theme is "thanks a bunch", I have made my card using my "My Minds Eye" DP again, and had to use this cute Sugar Nellie image Annie by Leanne Ellis. I coloured her in with promarkers as usual. Ribbon is from Bo Bunny again, used it all now so have to hit the local craft shop to get some more, loooove the polkadot ribbons. The sentiment is from SU and the lettering for "Louise" i did using my Studio G alphabet cube (which I love, it's soo versatile). Stick on bling from Ebay (£1 for 200, bargain!!) Have a manic week ahead of me. Going to Sweden on friday for a week and have college and work all week and lots of tidying in the house, since mother in law is looking after my kiddies when I am away. Jikes! I have made a card using My Minds Eye papers (again..) , love the green and brown autumn colours. For an image I used a cute Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie. I coloured her in with promarkers. Happy monday everyone. And it's a sunny one too. Got some spare time today since only had college in the morning so I am turning the house upside down cleaning. Good morning everyone. Monday is here again. Can't believe how fast the weeks are dissapearing. Christmas is not far away. This card I have made for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme is red, white and blue. I have made a clean cut card using only plain cardstock from the papermill in Aberdeen. I used my Cricut machine to cut the letters out and the football logo I found on the internet and just printed it out. Very simple but I love the colour combo. Having a busy day today. Monday again and OMG I am up early to publish this post since I have to be in college for 9am and finish 7pm and then straight to work 7.30 pm. So here is my card for this weeks Cupcake challenge. This week there is a yummy recipe to follow;

I have used a cute Anya image for this card.I coloured her in with promarkers. She is sooo cute and funky. The DP are from DCWV, from two different stacks. The ribbon is from Doodlebug, the charm I got in Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. The buttons and cardboard shapes are from stash. The "believe" stamped sentiment is from Hero Arts (clear inchie stamp set) and the little stick on pearls I bought on Ebay. Oh and the little green safety pin I got in a craft set from Tesco's(!!)Phew, having a busy time. Got tuesday morning and afternoon off so hopefully I will have time to finish the cyber girl mural I am currently working on...no rest for the wicked..I must have been so bad...hahah...have a great week and thanks for popping by.

Monday again and today is the official first birthday of Cupcake Craft Challenges. We have lots of treats today. Cupcake challenge - 52 - Sketch and colour theme

Morning everyone. Sorry about my absent in the last few weeks, have been a bad blogger. Have done a lot of extra work and tried to entertain the boys. Can't believe it's only a week until they are back to school. I missed the last Cupcake since I hurt my hand and my camera and pc were playing up. But I am fine now and here is my card for this weeks Cupcake. This week there is a lovely sketch by Tammy and there is also a gorgeous colour theme to follow. I have used a couple of Hanglar stamps for this card. Coloured them in with promarkers. The DP were a gift so sorry don't know where they are from. The creme shiny paper and other plain cardstock is from the papermill in Aberdeen. The sentiment is from K&Co (Sentiments to go), ribbon from Anita's and the stick on gems I got on Ebay. Had lots of fun with this sketch and absolutely loved the colour theme. AND don't miss next weeks Cupcake, it's the 1st birthday and there is gonna be a heaps of treats. Afternoon. Here is my little project for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme is set by Stephanie and the theme is "green, pink, brown, animals and flowers. I have made a little basket with some DP from DCWV (the sweet stack), lots of Prima flowers, ribbons from Doodlebug, brads, flowerbrads and buttons from Papermania. The charm I bought of a friend and the little tag with the writing and the bird was stamped with an Inkadinkadoo inchie stamp. Had lots of fun doing this, not sure what to put in it though. Probably sweeties...ofcourse...haha...why don't you go over to Cupcake and have a nosy at all the lovely DT creations. Have a good day.

Happy thursday everyone. Nearly weekend now, thank goodness. Have been doing lots of extra work, so I thought I'd treat myself to some new papers and ribbons today, so with my new stash I have made this card for this fortnights Sugar Bowl challenge. There is a lovely sketch by Gayle and the extra option is "ribbons and bows". And you have the chance of winning a full set of 4 cute new Sugar Nellie manga stamps fresh from the rubber factory. Sweeet! This card I have made for my youngest son's birthday, Jed, which is not until october, but I am starting college in september and with all the extra work and all my mural work I thought I'd be organised with cards atleast. For this card I used a cute little boy image by Sugar Nellie (ofcourse) made by the very talented Home Grown artists. I coloured him in with promarkers. I used DP from Creative Imaginations and ribbon from Anita's and Bo Bunny (been eyeing these polkadot ones up for AGES!!)The clay tiles are from Li'l Davis Designs (at The Art Department) and the stick on bling I purchased on Ebay. Think I maybe overdone it a bit with the ribbon, haha...got a bit excited. Had a great time making this. So thanks for looking and have a great weekend. Here is another combined challenge for me. Not having a lot of time this week and so many challenges I don't want to miss...jikes...for this card I used a lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers. The theme I got from Secret Crafter where you have to make a card with "spots and stripes" (one of my fav challenges!!) and last but not least I am entering this card in this weeks "Just Magnolia" where the challenge is to use "buttons". I have used a cute Tilda image, coloured her in with promarkers. Used lots of stick on gems that I got on Ebay. The beads and flower craft buttons are from "Dress it up", and the pink buttons are from stash. Sentiment from K&Co Did a bit of flourishy doodling aswell. Had a great time making this. Hi everyone. Hope you are having a nice monday. The weekend just flew by, can't believe we are halfway throught the summer holidays already..Here is my card for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The challenge is to make a Christmas card. I have made a step fold card using DP from Dovecraft, matching big brads and some prima flowers. I cut out the tree from the papers and used some cute christmas Tilda images (from last year) and coloured them in with promarkers. The dark blue cardstock is from the papermill in Aberdeen. Weekend...yay...had a manic week and am sooo happy it's finally weekend. Having some crafty time today so have some cards to put up on my blog. This card I have made for three challenges, first this fortnights Double Dutch Challenges. This time it's a fantastic sketch for you to follow. It has lots of layers and details, just up my street. Had a great time making this. I am also entering this card in two other challenges, Cute Daisy May, where the theme is to use "three of a kind", I have used two sets of three stick on pearls. And for this weeks Stamp with Fun the challenge is to use shapes and punches. I have used lots of rectangles and also used a SU punch to add more volume to the flowers. I used a mishmash of DP and some flowers and buttons from Papermania. The image is from The Greeting Farm. Can't get enough of these Anya's. Coloured her in with promarkers as usual. The stick on pearls I bought on Ebay. Just got some sparkly ones aswell today in the post, so I will be using them today no doubt. Awful weather up here in the highlands. Going to rain until tuesday so I am getting some board games and good dvds out for the kiddies. Their dad has taken them fishing at Glenlivet today with their uncles, so they will come home dinnertime soaked, starving but happy. They just love fishing. (YUK!!! Hours of sitting, frozen looking at water, not my idea of fun) I managed to skive off since I was with them for hours the other day when they want fishing. :D I am away to do some washing and HW. Happy Monday everyone. And the Cupcake Challenge Blog still lives....thanks to our hero Donna! For this week the challenge is to make a creation with "blossoms and butterflies", a theme set by Liza. I made a card with K&Co DP and a cute Anya stamp (from Greeting Farm) The stamped butterflies are from Magnolia. The stamped sentiment and the stamped flower are from SU. I coloured all the images in with promarkers. The flatbacked pearls I got on Ebay. The ribbon and mini safety pin are from stash. The little "happy" tag is cut out from a K&Co border strip. Had loads of fun making this card. Can't believe I am half way through my DT time with Cupcake already...time flies when you have fun. Happy friday everyone. So happy it's the beginning of the weekend. Here I have made a card for four (!) challenges. The sketch (am a bit late...) is from this weeks "Sketch Saturday2. I hardly ever miss one of these so had to join in. I am also entering this card for this weeks "The Next Level", where the theme is "buttons and bows", and also for "A Spoonfull of Sugar", where the theme is "hearts". And finally I am participating in this weeks "Papertake Weekly", where the challenge is "my favorite things". My favorite things at the moment is these adorable Anya stamps. So I have used one from the first batch, coloured in with promarkers. The DP I used are from K&Co, and the little heartborder is from there aswell. The little heartshaped buttons I purchased on Ebay a while ago. The ribbon is from stash and the little cute flowers were a gift from my friend Jenny, who also stamped me the Anya. (Thank you, thank you!!)Had lots of fun combining these challenges. This will be it for me this weekend. Doubledutch challenges - 21 - Small things, great joy

Hope you are all having a great week. I have had a busy one as usual. Doing some extra work at the moment so not much time for crafts. Had a spare hour today so I decided to join in with one of my fav challenges - Double Dutch. This fortnight the challenge is to make an ATC (8,9 x 6,4 cm)or an Inchie (2,5 x 2,5 cm) and Twinchie (5 x 5 cm). Ofcourse you can make all three if you want, so I decided to do that. I used some inchie clear stamps from Inkadinkadoo. I stamped them in twotone pink and also used a bit of gold coloured promarker to match with the papers. The DP are from K&Co. The flatbacked pearls are from Ebay. I also used a couple of SU punches for this little project. Had lots of fun making these. I am totally addicted to inchies now!! ;D Thanks for coming by for a nosy and new challenge over at Double Dutch on monday!!

Last ever Cupcake Craft Challenge

Sad news about the Cupcake challenge blog being shut down but it is a lot of work and I totally understand why it has to be shut down. Anyways, this week is the last week and the theme is "black and white". I have gone for something different this week, since it's the last. So I have done some beading. I am a massive fan of books and am currently reading the forth book in the Twilight saga (Breaking Dawn) by Stephenie Meyer. So I have made a bookmark. I used a silver plated bookmark blank and some white and black beads. I also used a "wish" and a heart charm. I also made a matching phonecharm. Had a great time making this, really want to get more into beading, you can make the most amazing stuff...if you have time to spare... Must give my pal some dollars for providing me with these beads, she is just too nice to me! Thanks for looking and thank you everyone who have had a nosy and put lovely comments on my Cupcake posts. The Sugar Bowl - 14 - Judy's sketch

Managed to join in with this fortnights Sugar Bowl. The sketch this fortnight is made by Judy and the extra element to include is "sparkle". AND you can win a set of the new Mary Hall stamps aswell! SWEEET! So for this card I used a Gorjuss image from the second batch (I think) and coloured her in with promarkers. I used K&Co papers and some flatbacked pearls I got on Ebay. For the sentiment I used my little Studio G alphabet cube. The flower is cut out of the papers to use as a embellishment. I added a bit of sparkle aswell (the papers already had some on!) using some Reeves glitter glue. Really "gorjuss" sketch, really enjoyed it. Wow, that weekend went fast. Summer holidays are here and I have a million things to do, extra work and 3 kiddies in tow! Phew...but shockingly enough I did manage to make a couple of cards last night. This one is for three challenges combined. I used the sketch over at Papertake Weekly. The theme I used is for this weeks "A Spoonfull of Sugar" challenge, and the theme is "summer". I am also going to enter this card in this weeks " Cute Card Thursday" challenge. Over at Cute Card you are to make a card with stitching included, real or faux. I used some summery K&Co papers that were given to me by a very good friend (thank you, hun!) , love these papers, they are so gorgeous. Cut out a flower from the paper and used it as an embellishment. Need some primas desperately so will hit the Craft shop this week. For the image I used a cute Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie. I coloured her in with promarkers. I also used some flatbacked pearls that I got on Ebay. I doodles some faux stitching aswell. I just love combining challenges, it makes it more..um...challenging!! ;D Thanks for coming by and have a great day!

Grand Opening - Tomorrow!

Hope you all are having a nice day. Weather has been gorgeous, we are so spoiled. Tomorrow is the grand opening of Thirteen Moons, just outside Drummuir. "Situated at the Mill of Towie, 2 1/2 miles outside of Keith on the B9014, Thirteen Moons will offer a tea room, crafts and curiosities produced by local artisans and a meeting venue in a beautiful, historic setting adjacent to a working smallholding. Thirteen Moons will seek to source as much produce as possible from local producers and will seek to reuse, recycle and reduce wherever possible." I am so excited to go and see it when it's all opened and busy, since I recently finished two "curiosity tree" murals there, situated in the stairways, and after I had a wee look today i saw that there were lots of lovely things hanging from the murals, very clever. I went this morning to leave my stand of cards to sell and the place looks amazing. Here is some pictures of what you will see when you go for a visit. Have a great evening. Monday again. And over at Cupcake the challenge this week is "It's Summer". I have made a card using a cute Annie Stamp by Leanne Ellis@ Sugar Nellie. I just don't seem to get sick of these cute little images. I have coloured her in with promarkers. I used Papermania DP and some stick on pearls, that I purchased on Ebay. Can't believe the schools break up on thursday for summer holidays. Shocking that I am going to have a Primary 2 and a Primary 4 boy in the house...time just flies by. At the moment I am just happy that there will be no school runs for a while. (not that I get a lie in or anything since all my boys are early risers...lol...) Landmark

Had a quiet day today, catching up with the housework and some other chores. There is only four days until the summer holidays up here so had some things to organise for next weekend so the boys don't get bored. This morning they went off with their dad in his van (my car is in for MOT and won't get it back until tuesday...arghghgh....feel disabled in the sticks up here without a car!!) to Landmark in Carrbridge near Aviemore. Here is some pictures of them causing mayhem with their pals. They just came home, had a great time and will sure have a good sleep tonight before their final week at school. The Next Level/Charisma Cardz

Am really late again with my card for this weeks Next Level. I just had to join in though, with such a brilliant challenge. This week you are to make a STAIR STEP FOLD CARD or FREE STANDING POP UP CARD. There are tutorials on the blog how to make them. I decided to make a stair step fold card using some red cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. The DP are from DCWV and for the images I used a cute little pair of Hanglar och Stanglar. I coloured them in with promarkers. I used some SU punches and a SU round sentiment stamp aswell. On the little tag I used my Studio G alphabet cube. It's so versatile, I love it! The flat backet stick on pearls I got from Ebay. Bargain! 200 pieces for 99p! Had so much fun doing this little project and I will use what I have learned again and again. I must try to make one of the other cards (pop up one) this week aswell...don't want to miss out on learning something new! I am also entering this card in this weeks Charisma Cardz challenge where the theme is "any project" and there is 4 chances to win some stamps from an american company called Rubberneck! Little visitor

Afternoon. Hope you all are having a great weekend. I have had a busy week as usual, but this week I had to fit in a lot of activities for the boys school, sportsday etc. Busy, busy....haven't had a lot of time to make crafty creations. But I had a little visitor today. My friend Helena brought her gorgeous and craft mad daughter over for a couple of hours. LOOK HOW TALENTED SHE IS!!! She made this card herself with some Papermania papers. The image she used is just like her, a Gorjuss stamp from Sugar Nellie. She even coloured it in with promarkers! Very clever indeed. Think there is gonna be a hole in her mums pocket soon when she realises all the tools you just HAVE TO HAVE when you are a crafter...hahah...sorry Helena!! Monday again and over at Cupcake this week there is a lovely sketch to follow. This week the challenge is sponsored by Sandra Dry Digi Stamps so we all got to use one of her stamps. I used Drake and Rosabella. They were a joy to colour in. I have never used a digi stamp before and am pleasantly surprised. Back to the card, I used DP from Bo Bunny and Basic Grey. I used some SU punches to make the Papermania flowers more interesting. Also used some eyelets and green ribbon from stash. Sorry short post, mondays is a bad day for me. The Next Level / Cute Card Thursday

Gorgeous unusual sketch over at this weeks issue of The Next Level. Can't believe I missed last weeks. I have combined this sketch with the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, where the theme this week is "Tag You'r It". Basically just have a tag on your project. I used some bright papers from We are Memory Keepers, love these papers, some of the flowers have a lovely metallic tint. The sentiment is from SU and the cute image I have coloured in is from Sugar Nellie. Isn't she adorable. She is from the very popular range of country girls. There is lots of new gorgeous (not only Gorjuss...lol...) rubber to have a sneeky peek at over at the Sugar Nellie Blog. That's me done for the night. Thank you all for coming past. Phew, hard work this combining challenges, but it's sooo much fun!! Here I have only combined two challenges. This card is for Sketch Saturday and for Stamping for the weekend. A challenge I have never tried before. Ofcourse there is a great sketch to follow over at Sketch Saturday and the challenge for SFTW is to use a digi stamp. I have used a digi stamp Rosabella and Drake by my friend (and SS DT member) Sandra Dry. (Hey hun!) I coloured the image in with promarkers (which I thought was gonna be hard with a digi image, but it was great!)I used papers by K&Co (I know you like these Sandra!!)I also used some buttons and ribbons from stash. The sentiment I stamped with my little Studio G cube. Never used a digi stamp before but now I am certainly hooked. So easy and since I am not a great stamper this is ideal for me. Wow, on my second post already today. Funny how you don't have time all week and you get a slot and you end up with a weeks worth of craft...lol..this card is for this weeks Spoonfull, and they have a gorgeous sketch that I have followed. I have combined it with a challenge I have never tried before called "Pile on it". Right up my street since you have to combine the challenge with atleast another. The theme for this week is to use two different ribbons. For the image I used a cute Sugar Nellie image. Really love these cute little girls. I coloured her in with promarkers as usual. The DP are from Basic Grey, love the colour combo on the papers. I used some bling that I got on Ebay. The sentiment is from SU and the ribbons are from stash. Quadruple challenge!!

Hope you all are having a nice evening. I have had a burst of crafting adrenaline and made 4 cards last night. This one is for some combined challenges. First I used a lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers. I used a rectangle for the image instead of an oval. This card is also being entered in the Cute Daisymay challenge, where the theme this week is "circles". AND it's also gonna be entered in Double Dutch Challenges, where the theme is "monochromatic"(I chose black!), and in Stamp with fun. The challenge for this week is "dots". WOW, don't think I have ever combined 4 challenges in one card before...lol...for the card I used Basic Grey papers, some SU punches and a SU round sentiment stamp. The ribbon and button is from stash. The little flowers were given to me by Jenny (Thank you!!) so I don't know where they are from. For the image I used a cute picnic Hanglar. It was pretty hard to do her in black and shades of it. Had so much fun trying to get all these themes into one card. Heck, I think this might be the new thing for me, combining lots of challenges, that is a challenge in itself...lol...thanks for popping by.

Cupcake challenge - Father's Day

Monday again. Time just flies by the last weeks before the summer holidays. Managed to get some time to make this card for Cupcake Craft Challenges. This week the challenge is "Father's day", but if you don't celebrate father's day or it's not celebrated at the same time as over here , a card for any man will do. There is a twist though. Your creation has to be "more than" a card. I have made a holiday voucher holder for my dad. He doesn't celebrate father's day just now since it's on a different date in Sweden. But he is off to Finland so I am sending him some travel cheques in this holder. (He is turning 70 this month, gratulerar alsklings papsi!)You can also use this for vouchers or cash. It's folded in the same way as a marchbox so if you have one, just case it with different measurements to fit your voucher on the inside. For this project I used a Sailboat stamp, think this one is from Inkadinkadoo, I have used the cracked glass technique on this card. I learned this over at the Sugar Bowl's monthly tutorial challenge Sugar Sugar. the papers I have had for a long time, but am 90% sure they are from Dovecraft, might get all wrong... The ribbon I got off Ebay, the sentiment stamp is from SU and I used the small circle and small scalloped circle SU punch aswell. Sometimes it feels a bit boring to give vouchers, or you feel like you haven't made an effort when you give someone vouchers or cash for their birthday. But if you make one of these folders the person who get this little pressie will know that you gone through a lot of effort to make this. Well, my dad might think so, but this folder only took me 20 minutes to make...lol....thanks for coming by and have a great week. A Spoonfull of Sugar/Daring Cardmakers

Whohhooo...another card for me today! Made this one for a lady at work, she has her 40th next weekend. This card I have incorporated in two challenges, over at Spoonfull the challenge for this week is butterflies. I got these DP a few weeks ago and one of the designs in the pad is of butterflies so I cut some out to use as embellishments. Lets hope she hasn't got a butterfly phobia...eeekkk! :D For this weeks Daring cardmakers they need some sunshine, since it's a bit dull down there. So the challenge is "sizzling hot", to use bright colours for your card, like orange, red and yellow. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the circles and "40" and for my round sentiment I used a SU stamp. I also used a couple of SU punches, circle and scalloped circle. The flowers are from Prima and Papermania. The letters for "VAL" I stamped with my little alphabet cube from Studio G. Quite a simple card, but didn't want to make it too fussy for her. Had a great time making it though, since hardly get any time nowadays. Thanks for popping by. Have a good evening.

Doubledutch/Cute card Thursday

Evening all. Having a hard time finding a slot during the day to make some crafty bits, but managed to make a couple today. It's crazy the last few weeks before the summer hols and the schools are cramming in all sorts of activities (ie sponsored walks, sportsday etc) so can't wait for the holidays so I can have some crafty time, instead of running around like a headless chicken...lol...busy this week, got a mural to do tomorrow and some bits and bobs. Here I have made a bookmark for this fornight Double dutch challenge. They always have unusual interesting challenges and I am ashamed I missed the last one AND I am really late with this one. I have combined this challenge with Cute Card thursday aswell, the challenge there is quotations. So I stuck on one from my little box of proverbs from K&Co. The papers I used are from Basic Grey and the image is an old Tilda image, I coloured her in with promarkers. The sentiment stamp is from SU and I used some SU punches for this bookmark. The ribbon I randomly found in one of my craft boxes. Shame there was only a little bit, loove the colour. Anyways thanks for poppping by. Have a great weekend.
